Justin Bieber Apologizes To Angry Fans After Arriving Late To London Concert
Justin Bieber is sure having a rough time in London. The singer, whose 19th birthday party in the city was a bust, angered fans after he arrived late to his concert at the O2 arena on Monday night. Bieber was due to begin performing at 8:30 p.m., but didn’t walk out until 10:30 p.m., according to the BBC. The outlet reports that a number of children in the crowd began crying when the singer continued not to show, while parents became furious.
Bieber took to Twitter after the show to apologize for his tardiness, but said he was not as late as it had been reported. The pop star tweeted, “last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10.”
“I was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that,” he wrote. Bieber added, “Im all about the music and the performance and i respect my fans. i never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset.” Bieber is scheduled to perform at the O2 again on Tuesday night.
