Justin Bieber “Today” Video: Watch Concert Performance Here!
Justin Bieber performed on “Today” on Thursday as part of the 2015 Toyota Concert Series. Check out the video below!
The singer and thousands of fans took over Rockefeller Plaza for the highly-anticipated event. Bieber sang his new single, “What Do You Mean?” of course, along with “Where Are U Now.” And despite rainy weather, he also performed “Boyfriend” and did an acoustic rendition of “Baby,” before closing things out with “As Long As You Love Me” in the fourth hour of “Today.”
Reflecting on his return to the spotlight, he told Matt Lauer between songs, “I think life throws you in places you never expected. And I think I’m just a young man trying to figure it out like everyone else.” Bieber was also awarded a plaque from Guinness World Records for being the youngest male artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, an achievement he accomplished with “What Do You Mean?” earlier this week.
Bieber, now sporting platinum blonde hair, has been hyping his performance for days. On Tuesday, for instance, he posted a video of himself singing “What Do You Mean?” as he hung on to a moving car, before yelling at the end, “‘Today’ Show! Few days away! Check it out!” Not surprisingly, some fans were so excited, they began camping out on Wednesday to ensure they’d get spots.
Bieber’s appearance follows his recent performances on the MTV Video Music Awards and “The Tonight Show.” But with just a slew of impromptu shows over the last year, this marks his first concert in quite some time. And it’s likely a taste of things to come, as Bieber will undoubtedly tour to support his upcoming record, due to be released in November. Watch below, and tell us what you think!
