Justin Bieber NOT “Sad” He Wasn’t Invited As Selena Gomez’s Date To Taylor Swift’s Birthday Party, Despite Report
Justin Bieber was “sad” he wasn’t invited to Taylor Swift’s birthday party as Selena Gomez’s date claims HollywoodLife in yet another fabricated story that lacks roots in reality. One week after Swift’s bash, magically out of the woodwork, a so-called “source” tells the webloid, Bieber was “bummed” he wasn’t invited. Uh, huh. Gossip Cop, of course, fact-checked the blog’s latest fantastical tale, and we’re told, “It’s total BS.”
Our Bieber source adds that last week, at the time of Swift’s birthday party in New York, on the West Coast “Justin was busy in the studio.” And, with a simple search on Instagram and Twitter, something HollywoodLies, er, HollywoodLife seemingly forgot to do because it can’t be bothered with facts, the site would have known that, too. Whoops.
Not that Gossip Cop needs to convince people anymore that HollywoodLife stretches the truth and peppers its stories with seemingly made-up quotes, but just read the following from one of the webloid’s so-called sources: “He [Bieber] doesn’t have a problem with Taylor, but he knows she just doesn’t get him. And for that reason he thinks Taylor doesn’t get Justin and Selena as a couple.” Wait, wouldn’t a real-life person have said, “And for that reason he thinks Taylor doesn’t get him and Selena as a couple”?
Irrespective of HollywoodLife messing up with its bogus timeline and quotes, our Bieber source tells us the singer never expected or had planned to be invited Swift’s birthday, which drew Beyonce and Jay Z, Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo, Ansel Elgort, and Charli XCX, among others. Of course, HollywoodLife is also the same site that recently posted within hours that “Justin Dyed His [Hair] Blonde To Forget About Selena Gomez” and “Justin Bieber Dyed His Hair Blonde To Get Selena Gomez’s Attention.”
The unreliable webloid hasn’t fare much better with another subject of its most current story, Taylor Swift. Last month, for instance, the site claimed she and Harry Styles were “secretly dating for months.” Hours after Gossip Cop shamed them for being wrong again, HollywoodLife naturally flip-flopped and posted a second story, stating, “There’s not a chance in hell that Harry will date Taylor again.”
Nor has HollywoodLife had a stellar record with Gomez. But rather than listing the multiple errors committed by the bad blog when it comes to her, we’ll just quote Gomez herself. The singer put it best just a few months ago: “Hollywood life is never true. Ever.”
