Justin Bieber is being sued by a photographer who claims he was locked in a restaurant and beaten by the singer’s bodyguard on the night of his January DUI arrest in Miami for drag racing.

Manuel Munoz alleges he was taking pictures of Bieber as he left SET Nightclub in Miami when bodyguard Dwayne Patterson chased him into a Subway and locked the restaurant’s door. Allegedly cornered into the establishment’s restroom, the photographer claims Patterson demanded the pics be deleted, and then kicked and punched him as he forcibly tried to take the camera’s memory card.

Munoz says Patterson eventually obtained the memory card, and left the camera damaged. Now, he is suing both Bieber and the bodyguard for an unspecified amount, reports TMZ. The site, however, obtained the police report from the incident, in which Munoz does not mention he was punched or kicked. Rather, the photographer claims Patterson tripped him, causing “small scratch in his left knee.”

The report also says Munoz asked for $10,000 in exchange for the pictures, but Patterson wouldn’t agree to more than $5,000. In a recording of the 911 calls placed during the incident, extreme screaming between the two alleged parties can be heard in the background before Munoz himself calls and pleads for help.

As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Bieber was partying at SET before getting arrested for allegedly drag racing and being under the influence. He is slated to go trial in the case this summer.
