Justin Bieber Asks Seth Rogen To Roast Him: “I Took Twitter Bashing, Now Do It In Person”
Justin Bieber took to Twitter on Thursday night to ask Seth Rogen to join his upcoming Comedy Central roast. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Rogen blasted Bieber after he was arrested last year, and now that’s exactly why the superstar wants the actor involved.
Bieber tweeted to Rogen, “All I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks.” He added in a second tweet, “@Sethrogen I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn’t scare me. Hope to see u at the roast :)”
As of now, Rogen has not responded. He and Bieber are pictured together above in 2011. Aside from Kevin Hart hosting and Jeffrey Ross playing a role, the official roast participants have not been announced. As Gossip Cop previously reported, rumors claiming Selena Gomez declined an invitation from producers are false. The roast is slated to take place next month, timed to Bieber’s 21st birthday on March 1. It won’t be broadcast, however, until March 30.
The first promo released featured Bieber getting pelted with eggs, a reference to last year’s egg-throwing incident. A second featured Ross “tattooing” a target on the singer’s back, and a third with the pair is expected to be released soon. Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun teased on Thursday, “The next commercial for the #BieberRoast is the greatest thing I have ever seen! Hahahaha.”
And Bieber himself tweeted, “Just watched the next #BieberRoast commercial that’s coming. @realjeffreyross is crazy. Am I ready? No. Lol.” Oh boy. Gossip Cop will post more details when available. Do you think Rogen should accept Bieber’s invitation?
