CLAIM: Justin Bieber Buys Selena Gomez $30,000 Watch

“Justin’s $30,000 gift for Selena,” reads a headline from In Touch, which claims Justin Bieber bought Selena Gomez a “$30,000 Chanel diamond watch” as a get-well gift after her recent hospitalization.

According to a so-called Bieber “pal,” the singer “was so worried after Selena was treated for malnourishment and exhaustion that he sent her the pricey timepiece to lift her spirits.”

The Biebs supposedly surprised his girlfriend with the watch, which the alleged “friend” says Gomez “has wanted for years, but her parents wouldn’t let her buy it.”

That’s quite a gift!

Unfortunately, however, none of this is true.

A rep for the “Baby” singer tells Gossip Cop that Bieber did not buy Gomez the watch, and calls the story “totally false.”

While we don’t doubt Bieber’s generosity, In Touch should watch its reporting a little better.
