Justin Bieber is firing back at the lawsuit that has accused him and other celebrities of trespassing when they attended a party thrown by Meek Mill.

As Gossip Cop reported, Mill was sued earlier this year after a wild party he threw in celebration of the Grammys in February allegedly left the mansion he rented severely damaged. Mill has still not paid for the alleged damages, leading the homeowner in August to add Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and other stars as co-defendants. The plaintiff accused each of trespassing, arguing that Mill was not allowed to have more than six people at the house, and the party reportedly swelled to more than 1,000.

The amended suit seeks to have Bieber and the other stars testify, thereby forcing them to reveal what took place during the party. But Bieber’s legal team is now fighting back, arguing there is no justification for dragging him into the lawsuit. Among the superstar’s counterpoints is that he can’t possibly be a trespasser since he was an invited guest.

Bieber further defends his famous pals, saying none of them caused any of the supposed $150,000 of damage. The formal response also accuses the homeowner of just trying to milk the stars for cash, according to TMZ. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
