Justin Bieber: Grammys Snub is “Big Bummer,” But “It’ll “Happen One Day”

Justin Bieber can’t lie.

The singer says he was majorly disappointed after scoring zero Grammy nominations last week for his chart-topping Believe album.

The news was a “big bummer,” Bieber acknowledges on Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“It’s definitely something I was looking forward to,” says the pop star. ”But I know that it’ll happen one day.”

Bieber goes on to point out that, at only 18 years old, he’s still “so young,” and has plenty of time to earn the honor.

“I’m blessed to just be able to do what I love every day,” he says.

    This is not aimed just at Bieber, but the entire “snub” culture of the entertainment press. So, if someone is not nominated for an award they are “snubbed”. Then that would be the case for 99% of people in the business as there are always people who don’t get nominated. Just because you don’t get a nomination, does not mean you were “snubbed”. It means the voters don’t think it was deserved. Granted, sometimes the choices are not to my liking, but again, that does not mean you are “snubbed”.

    You realize that most pop stars like him and 1D are just a money-making formula, right? They don’t write their own songs. All they are, are actors. They play a part. Yes, some of them can sing, but they’re just puppets doing whatever they’re told to do to make the biggest paycheck.
