Justin Bieber is reportedly set to strike a plea deal in his egging vandalism case.

According to TMZ, the pop star’s lawyer has been in contact with prosecutors to arrange restitution for approximately $20,000 in damage to the home of Bieber’s former neighbor in Calabasas.

Under the proposed bargain, Bieber would plead no contest to misdemeanor vandalism, serve no jail time, receive an informal probation sentence, and financially settle with the homeowner.

The deal has not been finalized at this point, although it could reportedly come as early as next week.

Gossip Cop has reached out to Bieber’s legal camp for comment and clarification.

TMZ says the L.A. County Sheriff wanted the singer to be charged with a felony because of the damage, but that the District Attorney feels a misdemeanor charge is more appropriate.
