Justin Bieber Fans Celebrate Sixth Anniversary Of His First Single “One Time”
Justin Bieber fans are celebrating on Tuesday because it marks the singer’s six-year anniversary of his very first single “One Time.” As Gossip Cop previously reported, the song was released on July 7, 2009 when Bieber was just 15. The song was included on Bieber’s debut album My World in November 2009.
Bieber hasn’t yet commented on the milestone, but his adoring fans, known as Beliebers, have already taken to Twitter in droves to post about the anniversary, making “#6YearsOfOneTime” a trending topic.
“#6YearsOfOneTime o my God has it really been 6 years,” a fan named “foreignlandis” tweeted. Another fan who goes by the name “makaylabieber01,” wrote on Twitter, “#6YearsOfOneTime omg time flies @justinbieber I remember this song made me fall in love with him now I’m still here.” Twitter user “sarah_jane288” noted that the song was “literally my childhood anthem.” And a fan named “happyrunner” posted, “Six years ago this adorable boy changed my life changed forever.”
A few of Bieber’s fans posted lyrics from the song, while others tweeted that they were crying. “There are real tears,” wrote a fan who goes by “avoncharming.” “I’ve been here since ‘One Time.’ I have watched @JustinBieber grow, fall and rise back up again.
