Mark Wahlberg’s Wife Rhea Durham On Justin Bieber Calvin Klein Ads: “Wow, The Retouching!” (PHOTOS)
Mark Wahlberg’s wife Rhea Durham took aim at Justin Bieber‘s Calvin Klein ads in a series of tweets that she was later forced to clarify. As Gossip Cop has reported, the superstar singer’s underwear campaign has caused some controversy for its alleged photoshopping, with critics pointing out differences between the raw behind-the-scenes video and the finished photos. Wahlberg’s wife seems to agree, and, well, prefers her husband’s own set of Calvin Klein ads.
“My baby was the 1st and the best,” Durham tweeted with smiley face emojis. “And not to mention……wow the retouching……” She shared a link to some of Wahlberg’s famous snapshots, which were taken back in 1992, and wrote, “that’s the real…..ain’t gonna lie.” Durham further said, “Just gonna say this…..did u ever hear the song
The comments sparked a bit of backlash from Bieber fans, leading Durham to later clarify, “No hate! Just saying the original was the best that’s all.” But Durham was still under fire Thursday night, and she tried to clear up her feelings once again. “I have no ill will against anyone! I’m just super biased for my hubby that’s all,” she wrote. “Mark loves Justin. It’s all good! Xo.”
Durham went on, and even referenced Harry Styles, saying “Hey! Guess what??? I love Justin! My husband loves Justin! My daughter loves Justin!! And Harry (but that’s another story) it’s a love fest.” She continued, “I’m not censoring how I feel about my husband! That’s my Man…..sorry! One day Justin will have a wife too and she’ll do the same!”
She added, “But hey while we’re on the topic…..w/out sounding cougarish Justin looks very very good in his ads! But I still love Harry! (and Mark).” Unfortunately, hateful tweets continued to pour in, and Durham admitted, “Wow…..at this point I’m just confused! There all [sic] hot! Damn ya’ll!!!” She ended by tweeting to Bieber, “@justinbieber this Rhea Wahlberg @mark_wahlberg wife. Sorry for any confusion! Passing the torch….Congrats!!!!! Xo.”
As for Bieber, he hasn’t addressed any of the tweets, but wrote earlier this week, “Just spoke to my boy @mark_wahlberg. Honored to be a part of the legacy. @CalvinKlein #mycalvins.” The two stars have been friends for years, and have expressed a desire to work together.
