Justin Bieber Still Doing Make-A-Wish Meetings, Despite Fan Photo Ban
Justin Bieber is still doing Make-A-Wish meetings, despite his recent ban on fan photos and canceling concert meet and greets. See the new pictures below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber announced in March that he would no longer be doing meet and greet sessions during his “Purpose World Tour.” In an emotional message to fans on Instagram, the superstar explained how such pre-show events left him feeling “drained” and “unhappy.” Then, in May, Bieber said he would also no longer pose for fan photos while out during his private time, likening the experience to being a zoo animal.
But that hasn’t stopped Bieber from fulfilling the wishes of ill fans who are attending his concerts. On Saturday, the North Alberta chapter of Make-A-Wish tweeted out photos of Bieber granting a wish at his Edmonton concert, which took place this past Tuesday. The organization wrote, “Emily, 6, Wilms Tumour, wished to meet @justinbieber! It was all she hoped it would be! #yeg #makeawish #wish.”
A humble Bieber wrote back, “She made my wish.” The singer later posted one of the pictures on Instagram, writing, “Love it.” Bieber’s meeting with Emily comes about a month after a report falsely claimed he was refusing to meet with another sick girl from New Hampshire. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the singer agreed to grant the wish as soon as he heard about it.
Bieber has a long history with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and even set a record back in 2013 when he granted his 200th wish. At the time, he was the first recording artist to do so. That number has only continued to grow, and clearly, won’t be stopping. Check out the new photos below!
