Justin Bieber Performs Make-A-Wish Concert — SEE VIDEOS + PHOTOS!
Justin Bieber performed a private concert for some very lucky fans on Wednesday in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Check out the photos and videos below!
The event took place at a Lucky Strike bowling alley in Los Angeles with 20 young female fans. There Bieber was joined by his guitarist Dan Kanter for an acoustic set, which included performances of “Baby,” “Hold Tight,” “Be Alright,” “Boyfriend,” “As Long As You Love,” and “One Less Lonely Girl.”
As Beliebers know, it’s tradition for the superstar to pick a girl to serenade during “One Less Lonely Girl,” and this show was no exception. Video captured at the mini-concert shows Bieber holding on to one of the attendees as he sings to her a capella. The singer also took time to pose for photos with all the fans, holding their hands and giving them kisses, or sometimes getting smooched himself.
Bieber hasn’t mentioned his good deed on social media, but after the event, he followed many of the participants on Twitter. One fan gushed in a series of tweets, “He’s so beautiful. I can’t believe I met him. HES SO PERFECT SND SWEET AND SMELLS AMAZING OMG FFGF. Justin is the sweetest person. ever. Justin kept telling me I have a beautiful smile. Life is complete.”
Another fan, Lila, came with a backpack covered with Bieber’s mug shot. She later wrote on Twitter, “Justin did like my backpack. He even told me a story that goes with the bible because of it… My backpack shows that I will love him through all the bad times too. Don’t take it the wrong way.” Lila further posted of the meeting, “8 years & it finally happened. I love you more than words can explain. @justinbieber… I was like melting when he kept staring at me. He kept eye contact the whole time.”
Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun was particularly proud of his client, tweeting, “Doing what matters. Good man @justinbieber #makeawish.” And Kanter posted on Instagram, “I feel so honored to have the opportunity to be a part of moments like these. Proud of @justinbieber.” As Gossip Cop has reported, Bieber has a long relationship with the charitable organization. Less than a year ago, the star brought “Celebrity Grace,” an 11-year-old suffering from cancer, on stage at the Young Hollywood Awards, where the Champ of Charity honoree let her have his award.
And in 2013, Bieber set a Make-A-Wish record by becoming the first recording artist to grant 200 wishes. Clearly, that number is only rising. Check out the videos and photos shared by Wednesday’s attendees below!
