Justin Bieber and J Balvin performed the Spanish remix of “Sorry” live for the first time at the Staples Center on Sunday. Watch below!

Bieber was a surprise guest during Balvin’s set at the Mega 96.3 FM “Calibash” concert. The joint appearance marked the first time fans actually got to watch the two performers team up for their “Sorry” collaboration in person. They originally released the so-called “Latino remix” online back in November.

Before taking the stage, Bieber teased in an Instagram video with Balvin, “We got a little surprise. I think it’ll be pretty awesome.” Balvin went on to tout that the performance was a “historic moment” for Latin music, and proof that you should “dream big.”

“Had to support my bro @JBALVIN tonight at Staples. We got more coming,” Bieber tweeted after the show, adding, “Nothing like the rush of the stage.” The singer will get to experience that rush a lot more soon. He’ll be performing at the Grammys next month, and his “Purpose World Tour” kicks off in March.

“Sorry” is the second single from Purpose, which dropped last fall. Earlier this month, the track became Bieber’s second-ever number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Check out the remix performance with J Balvin below!
