Justin Bieber Ends Israel Trip on High Note After “Rough” Start
Justin Bieber‘s visit to Israel started off “rough,” as he noted, but ended up being “truly special.” On his first day, Bieber was harassed by the paparazzi in Israel and vented his frustration on Twitter: “[I’m] in the holy land and i am grateful for that. I just want to have the same personal experience that others have here.”
He rightfully noted, “You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places,” and felt it’s OK to “take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous… People wait their whole lives for opportunities like this, why would they want to take that experience away from someone.”
Then there were a slew of false reports that a meeting between Bieber and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was canceled after the pop star allegedly refused to meet with schoolchildren affected by rocket attacks near their home in Sderot. Not true.
In fact, The Biebs invited those kids to his concert in Tel Aviv. Still, even though the trip “started off a little rough,” as he tweeted earlier today, Bieber felt Israel “is truly special” and added, “thank u for a week I will never forget. It’s an incredible place. thank u.”
