VIDEO: Justin Bieber Performs Surprise Concert, Covers Edwin McCain Hit “I’ll Be”
Justin Bieber gave an impromptu mini-concert at Los Angeles restaurant State Social House on Tuesday. Check out the videos below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, the superstar is a regular at the West Hollywood hot spot. On his most recent visit, he was apparently moved to grab one of the guitars on site and start singing some tunes, and reportedly did a four-song acoustic set. Naturally, some footage has made its way onto YouTube, and shows Bieber sitting alone on stage as he performs “Home To Mama,” which he released with Cody Simpson last fall, and a cover of the Edwin McCain hit, “I’ll Be.” He tweeted Wednesday morning, “Woke up smiling. Last night was fun. Felt good to just play. Had so much fun. Thanks.”
Bieber was also at State Social House last week. As Gossip Cop reported, he went to dine there with some pals, and ended up crashing a meeting of the Log Cabin Republicans, who advocate for gay rights. There was no singing then, however. A few days later, the star marked eight years since his very first YouTube video was posted. “Thank u. I love u all. Through the good times and the bad times I’m so grateful for this journey,” he wrote on Twitter on Friday as fans celebrated on social media.
So far, it’s turning out to be a pretty big year for Bieber. He’s promised to deliver new music, and has been posting frequently about being in the studio in recent weeks. And after causing a huge stir with his Calvin Klein ads earlier this month, it was just announced on Tuesday that he’ll be roasted by Comedy Central in March, timed to his 21st birthday.
