Justin Bieber Investigated For Alleged Headbutting
Justin Bieber is being investigated for misdemeanor battery by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department after allegedly headbutting a man at a pre-Grammy party last weekend, Gossip Cop can confirm.
The alleged incident occurred in Los Angeles at around 2 a.m. last Saturday at the Italian restaurant Serafina, where Bieber’s producer friend, Poo Bear, was hosting a party. According to TMZ, the singer was play fighting with his pal Kyle Massey when he noticed a man recording them. Bieber reportedly asked him to stop filming, but when the man didn’t comply, the singer supposedly headbutted him.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department was called following the alleged attack, but Bieber had left the scene by the time authorities arrived. The alleged victim reportedly declined to press charges against the pop star, but the Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the situation. A spokesman for the LASD tells us the person who actually called the cops was “not involved” in the dispute. Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Bieber for more information, as well as Serafina, but we’ve yet to hear back.
This incident comes on the heels of the news that the singer is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a man after a Cleveland Cavaliers game last June. As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber got into a fight outside of his Cleveland hotel last summer, but his alleged opponent just recently filed a complaint against him. That investigation is currently underway and no charges have been filed as of yet.
