HollywoodLife Has No Clue What’s Going On With Justin Bieber Or Selena Gomez
HollywoodLife, the Internet equivalent of a dumpster fire, continues to have no idea what’s happening with Justin Bieber. As Gossip Cop pointed out over the weekend, the webloid has gone completely berserk since Selena Gomez publicly called out the site for fabricating things, using pretty much every action or word uttered by either her or Bieber to construct a completely imaginary soap opera about their relationship.
We thought things had reached rock bottom earlier this month when HollywoodLife reported that Bieber dyed his hair blonde in order to forget about Gomez AND to win her back. But that was before the past few days, when the blog’s speculation went into hyperdrive and made it look even more ridiculous. We didn’t think it was possible. We should have never underestimated HollywoodLife’s talent for flip-flopping.
On Thursday, HollywoodLife posted this headline: “Justin Bieber Hopes Sexy New Pics Will ‘Impress’ Selena Gomez.” This was after Bieber shared a new photo shoot on social media. A made-up source told the site, “Justin hopes Selena saw the photos. He wants her to see how good he looks. How healthy he is and that’s he’s changing for the better. He hopes the pics impress her.”
That same day, Bieber’s childhood dog Sammy died. HollywoodLife asked, “Will Selena Gomez Comfort Him?” Did Sammy’s death have anything to do with Gomez? Of course not. HollywoodLife’s entire business seems to be based on playing the world’s worst game of connect-the-dots.
Here’s HollywoodLife’s headline on Saturday: “Justin Bieber Thinks He Can Get Selena Gomez Back Anytime He Wants.” The gist of the story is that Bieber is allegedly confident he can win back Gomez anytime he wants. This flew in the face of a previous HollywoodLife story claiming Bieber had to win Gomez back before December 31, a completely arbitrary deadline made up by a completely arbitrary entertainment “news” outlet.
On Sunday, HollywoodLife thought it had a major news story on its hands. “Justin Bieber Boards Jet: Finally Going To Sweep Selena Gomez Off Her Feet?” read the headline. “We know the Biebs is heading somewhere, and we think he may be NYC-bound!” declared the webloid, speculating it could be a “romantic gesture.” The story contained this line, which contradicted the previous HollywoodLife theory about how Bieber supposedly could win Gomez back “anytime he wants.” This time, HollywoodLife reported, “Justin knows that Selena isn’t going to wait around forever, and that time is running out if he really wants her back.”
Can you follow any of this? We can’t, because it MAKES NO ABSOLUTELY SENSE! Things like consistency are important in reporting. But HollywoodLife is allergic to consistent reporting. Which is why it was no surprise that Bieber was NOT flying to New York to make some grand romantic gesture to Gomez. No one thought he was, except for HollywoodLife and people gullible enough to believe anything HollywoodLife writes.
The SAME DAY HollywoodLife wondered whether Bieber was going to sweep Gomez off her feet, it published the headline, “Justin Bieber Disses Selena Gomez: Reunites With Hailey Baldwin.” Baldwin, of course, is not an actual human being as far as HollywoodLife seems to be concerned. She is just a prop in this endless, imaginary Bieber-Gomez drama HollywoodLife sensationalizes. Gomez was not expecting Bieber to come to New York to be with her, and Bieber did not “diss” Gomez by not coming to New York. This is INSANITY.
On Monday, HollywoodLife posted a new headline: “Justin Bieber Takes Hailey Baldwin On Shirtless Hike — Replacing Selena?” We give up. Seriously. JUST LET THESE THREE PEOPLE LEAD THEIR LIVES WITHOUT HOURLY, B.S. SPECULATION. What the hell? As Gossip Cop keeps saying, HollywoodLife is posting as many bogus Bieber-Gomez stories as possible to exploit their fans and earn cheap traffic. Don’t buy the garbage. Look at some recent HollywoodLife headlines below, and tell us if any sane or rational person can trust the narrative.
