Justin Bieber Almost Forgets To Sing ‘Love Yourself’ At Barclays Concert (VIDEO)
Justin Bieber had a slightly embarrassing moment at his Barclays Center “Purpose World Tour” concert in Brooklyn on Wednesday, when he almost forgot to perform “Love Yourself.” Check out the videos below.
The superstar typically sings the hit during a mini-acoustic set that has him sitting on a couch at the show’s middle-point. But this time, Bieber got off the sofa before doing the song, and stage hands came to remove it. Then he seemed to remember.
“I got a little head of myself,” he told the crowd, leading the assistants to push the couch back on to the stage. And unsurprisingly, when Bieber asked if he should just “skip” the song, the audience shouted “no.” The singer then tuned his guitar again and launched into the track.
And manager Scooter Braun, who was in attendance, later posted a clip of the performance on Instagram, though he didn’t mention the mishap. He wrote in the caption, “Great show. damn I love this song. @justinbieber @itsbennyblanco @teddysphotos #purposetour.” In the video, Braun was filmed enthusiastically singing along.
“Love Yourself” is Bieber’s third number one single from Purpose, following the success of “Sorry” and “What Do U Mean.” “Sorry” now serves as the encore for the “Purpose” concerts, and he’ll take the stage at the Barclays Center again on Thursday. Check out highlights from Wednesday’s show below.
