Justin Bieber Flagged at Customs: Report
Justin Bieber’s bumpy trip to the Super Bowl reportedly just got even bumpier.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, the teen superstar’s plane was stopped at the Teterboro Airport on Friday when authorities detected what they believed to be a strong odor of weed. A search came up empty, but Bieber himself was reportedly stopped again later on while making his way through customs at the airport.
The singer was reportedly flagged due to his two pending criminal cases, with the Patriot Act allowing the government to monitor those traveling into the U.S. from another country if they have convictions or active cases.
Bieber was cleared to formally enter the country after a reported five hours of questioning, says TMZ.
