Justin Bieber Remaking Fear?

Justin Bieber is reportedly interested in a possible remake of Fear, the 1996 movie in which Mark Wahlberg played Reese Witherspoon’s psychotic and obsessive boyfriend.

The teen idol is rumored to be a huge fan of the thriller and “eyeing” the scary Wahlberg role in a potential new version, according to MovieWeb.

Bieber and Wahlberg have discussed the young superstar’s future movie career in the past, and the two are teaming up on a street basketball movie.

As for Fear, there are currently no official plans for a remake, but a rep would not deny Bieber’s interest in the material, telling Gossip Cop he’s “looking at lots of roles.”

    Can’t Remake a Classic like that Mark Wahlberg is a Terrific actor seen all of his movies and Justin bieber playing his role would just ruin the movie make a sequel or something don’t make a remake…

    If he wantss to act he should choose something original. Doing a remake~~especially of something so recent~~can only result in lots of negative comparisons. Why set yourself up for certain failure. However, good luck to him. Maybe he will surprise us.

    Mark Wahlberg is a terrific actor? Are you sure you’re not watching George Clooney or Dicaprio films? Mark is a wooden actor who often plays each role in the same way.

    He always has this shocked look upon his face. Forget his one Oscar nomination, for playing a tough guy in The Departed. That was his one good performance and that’s more because the movie was terrific.

    A lot of ppl also have #1 songs and albums. Doesn’t mean they are very good.

    UHH, Hello…have u not seen Boogie Nights? He was great in that film and he doesn’t just play the same role either…He’s done comedy as well. Yes, he failed as a Rap Artist,but he has definitively come a long way in movie roles and if my memory serves me correctly, I do believe he won an award for Boogie Nights as well. He is a good actor,otherwise he wouldn’t be getting offers now would he?

    I would seriously forbid my 3 year old daughter to ever listen to or have any Justin Bieber products…right now, it’s a really cute stage for her and if he was in a remake for Fear, I would definitely not support it. I like the movie Fear. I love Witherspoon and Wahlberg, but I don’t condone some of the scenes and therefore, there’s no reason to remake this movie and him remaking the movie says he is ok with some of the outrageous acts…….and no 3 year old should have a crush on someone like that.

    You cant remake this movie. Ive always been a big fan of Mark Wahlbergs acting and come on,Bieber cant pull off thid character. Not to mention,Marks looks and body. Hes a sexy man and I dont think of sexy or even cute when I look at Bieber. Maybe Taylor Lautner could do it justice but even then I wouldnt want to see a remake of this…

    robyn you kill me ! but yeah i cant see him as the kind of person for this film maybe he should stick to romance movies if he plans on being in the business.. but if you see the real and rumour chart its most likely not gonna happen
