Justin Bieber Fan Photos Ban Explained (VIDEO)
Justin Bieber is again explaining why he won’t take fan photos. Check out the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber announced last month that he’s “done taking pictures” with fans because he ends up feeling like a caged zoo animal, rather than a human being. Early Tuesday, the superstar posted a video that further elaborates on that idea. In the clip, a man preaches about his own experience feeling demeaned by the fan photo process.
“One of the things that amazes me about being well known is kind of hard to get used and I really don’t like it, but I do it,” he says. “Everybody wants to take pictures with you, and they run up to take the picture with you. It used to be they wanted to know you. Now they don’t even want to know you. They just wanna be seen with you.”
The gentleman goes on, “And they look at the image and walk away with the image. And I’m standing there thinking, ‘You had a chance to meet the man, and you walked away with the image.’ The image is the cheapest part of the person, but we are satisfied to live in a world of images at the expense of having reality. So nobody wants to know you.”
Bieber didn’t caption the video, but the comments echo much of what he has previously said on the issue. Watch below. NOTE: Bieber has since deactivated his Instagram account, and the video is no longer available.
