Justin Bieber Dating “Mystery Brunette”?

Justin Bieber attended Justin Timberlake’s post-BRIT Awards concert in London on Wednesday, and outlets like HollywoodLife are obsessing over the “sexy mystery brunette” The Biebs had “in tow.”

The facts-challenged webloid and other sites are frantically labeling the outing a “date” and suggesting that she could be his new girlfriend in the wake of his split from Selena Gomez.

As usual, Jay Penske’s blog is in overheated speculation mode, tossing random questions at its readers instead of actually reporting.

“Who is Justin’s sexy new friend?” wonders HollywoodLife, later asking, “Do YOU think Justin is over Selena? Did he kiss the sexy brunette?”

Please allow Gossip Cop to answer.

First of all, the “mystery brunette” has a name.

She’s Ellapaige Roberts-Clarke, an aspiring singer who goes by the stage name Ellapaigé or Ella-Paige.

And she is NOT Bieber’s new girlfriend.

Not only didn’t she and the pop star “kiss,” as HollywoodLife and others hope, but Gossip Cop hears that Roberts-Clarke was actually at the show with another member of Bieber’s party.

Oops.

In other words: Don’t believe the new Bieber romance hype.

    I agree. I don’t think they are a couple, but she was Justin Bieber’s date for the evening. She appears to also be friends with one of Bieber’s crew but the guy does hair and make-up for celebrities so I have a feeling that Ella-Paige is not his “type”. He was just likely the person who introduced her to Bieber. Its not like she could randomly walk up to Bieber and start socializing with Bieber, someone inside his inner circle would have to allow her to have access to him.

    This site is refreshing … as celeb gossip goes anyway, It at least “looks” like you try to verify some things. The other gossip sites simply imply the most drama provoking. I often wonder 1. how the come to the conclusions they do from only a picture. The same picture I am viewing and I totally don’t come to the same conclusion at all! and 2. how they get away with that type of so called “reporting” with no back up whatsoever. How is it legal, isn’t it slander?
