Justin Bieber Plays Drums With Late Late Show House Band (VIDEO)
Justin Bieber played drums with the house band on Tuesday’s “Late Late Show With James Corden.” The Biebs wasn’t on-camera the entire show until literally the very end when he could briefly be seen playing drums with Reggie Watts and the rest of the band. See the video below.
Bieber came to the “Late Late Show” to support Tori Kelly who, minutes before his drumming, played an acoustic version of her new song, “Nobody Love.” The song is the first single off Kelly’s upcoming album Unbreakable Smile, which is set to be released on June 23, 2015.
Before performing, Kelly spoke to Corden and noted her connection to Bieber, without even mentioning he was on set playing with the house band. After discussing how she’ll be performing at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday and was the supporting act, at different times, for both Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, Kelly talked about how, like Bieber, she was discovered as a teenager after she posted her music on YouTube. And she mentioned that she now also shares Scooter Braun as her manager.
The fact that Bieber was going to play drums on the “Late Late Show” was not the best kept secret. Earlier on Tuesday, Braun actually tipped everyone off that Bieber was going to play, with a tweet that read, “make sure u watch the @latelateshow tonight!! @ToriKelly is insane!!! Wow. And I think @justinbieber was on the drums of the house band. Lol.” Corden was also not very secretive. He tweeted, “You might also spot @justinbieber on drums at the end!!!!” Check out the video below of Justin Bieber playing drums on the “Late Late Show” and tell us what you think.
