Justin Bieber Did NOT “Like” Donald Trump Instagram Video Nor Follows Him On Twitter, Despite Reports
Justin Bieber did not “like” a Donald Trump video on Instagram nor does the singer follow the Republican presidential frontrunner on Twitter, despite a number of wrong reports. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the record. We’re told screenshots that appear to indicate Bieber showing support for Trump are “fake.”
After Trump uploaded a video to Instagram urging primary voters in Wisconsin to “make America great again,” a Twitter account named Shady Music Facts alleged Bieber “liked” the GOP presidential candidate’s taped message. Accompanying what it presented as a screenshot of the singer giving Trump’s video the thumbs up was Shady Music Facts’s tweet that reads, “It seems that Justin Bieber may be a fan of Donald Trump after liking his recent video on Instagram!”
Shady Music Facts followed up that inaccurate tweet with another claiming, “Justin also follows Donald Trump on Twitter.” Similarly, there was a screenshot that presumably proves Bieber is a Trump follower on Twitter (see below). But it’s all untrue.
The screenshots supposedly showing Bieber “liked” Trump’s video on Instagram and follows him on Twitter have seemingly been fabricated. Despite some reputable outlets picking up the story, Gossip Cop investigated and can exclusively report that Bieber neither “liked” Trump’s Instagram video urging Wisconsinites to vote for him nor does he “follow” the Republican presidential hopeful on Twitter. Bieber’s rep further assures Gossip Cop the screenshots are entirely “fake.”
