Justin Bieber Collapses on Stage, Rushed to Hospital (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Justin Bieber collapsed on stage while performing in London on Thursday night, sending him to the hospital.

The singer went down mid-song during “Beauty and the Beat,” before leaving the stage.

His manager Scooter Braun came out to tell the audience that Bieber had been feeling “light of breath,” and EMTs advised him to get further medical attention and not continue with the show.

Nevertheless, Bieber refused to cut the concert short, and came back after resting for a few minutes.

The Bieb’s rep says in a statement, “Justin fainted onstage tonight during his concert in London when he fell short of breath. He left the stage for 20 minutes, then came back and finished the show.”

He received oxygen backstage, and was taken to the hospital after finishing his performance.

Bieber took to Twitter once he was settled in, sharing a shirtless photo of himself resting.

“getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world,” he wrote, adding, “figuring out what happened. thanks for the love.”

    Anyone else think this is totally staged? He’s been getting such bad press lately it seems as though this would be a plan to get people to get back on his side. Like, by making people believe he is such an amazing person for finishing his performance after he faints. It would be easy to fake, and all of his fans’ faith in him would be restored by this action. I don’t know. Just seems like suspicious timing to me as someone who is not a fan of his.

    He has been called one of the hardest working celebrities. Not only that but he has had to endure some of the most hateful comments i have seen since Michael Jackson was alive. He needs to get away from it all for a few days and rest. people can die from lung problems.

    great way to garner fan support. I think he would be more successful in garnering fan support by starring in his own sitcom, say, “Leave it to Bieber”. He could combine his singing, dancing and religious proselytizing (like James Brown did as … Reverend Cleophus James in “The Blues Brothers”….you know…..jumping around and singing about how the Lord guides him). He could even reach out to Charles Manson.
    Rumor has it Charlie wanted the letter “chi” tattooed on his body just like Bieber did recently, but Charlie’s hand slipped.

    “clearly not a joke”? Please explain to me how this is clear. Fainting is easily faked. It is not life threatening, it’s not something that’s even remotely hard to fake, like say, a seizure. He has a lot resting on him right now with a lot of bad press including showing up two hours late to his own concert, photos of him smoking, and partying all night. He could lose his fans and his money. Plus, another chance for him to post a photo of himself shirtless while gaining the sympathy of all those around him. I wouldn’t believe that this was his own plan though. Probably something his management told him to do.

    If this sickness was fake than it would require a conspiracy among a lot of people including the hospital. I guess he also faked breaking his foot at a concert and vomiting on stage last year because of sickness. Did God forget to give you haters a brain? Why ,furthermore, would he embarrass himself on stage for publicity? By the way, a tuxedo was not available for him to wear at the hospital.
