Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Collaboration Song Rumors NOT True
On Sunday, Gomez posted a very short Snapchat video of herself giggling while listening to what sounds like her voice on Bieber’s upcoming song with DJ Snake, “Let Me Love You.” Many people on social media believed Gomez was hinting that she performs on the song as well. And shortly after she posted the clip, DJ Snake further fueled collaboration rumors by tweeting a cryptic purple heart emoji at the singer.
Following all of the conjecture online, Us Weekly asked in a new headline: “Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Collaborating on a New Song?” But Gossip Cop can report that the answer is a resounding “no.” We checked with a source close to Bieber, who exclusively tells us Gomez is simply “not on the song.”
In fact, DJ Snake later explained on Twitter that Gomez is performing her own cover version of the tune, which is presumably what’s playing in the background of her video. To be clear, she and Bieber aren’t actually featured on the same track. Bieber’s rendition of “Let Me Love You” will be included on DJ Snake’s new album, Encore, which drops this Friday. It has yet to be announced when Gomez’s version of the song will be released. See below Gomez’s Snapchat video that sparked the inaccurate collaboration rumors.
