Justin Bieber “Cold Water” – Listen To New Song With Major Lazer (AUDIO)
The new Justin Bieber and Major Lazer song “Cold Water” premiered on Friday. Listen below!
The collaboration, which also features vocals from MØ, was first revealed in May when Bieber tweeted about it to Diplo, who, of course, is one of Major Lazer’s members. The track is expected to be on the EDM group’s next album. Bieber is among the song’s co-writers, along with Ed Sheeran.
The superstar has a successful past with both artists. Bieber and Diplo previously collaborated on “Where A U Now.” With Sheeran, he co-wrote “Love Yourself.” Both songs became chart-toppers, and it’s quite possible “Cold Water” will be one, too.
Bieber has been getting fans pumped with a social media countdown. And on Wednesday, he started sending Beliebers DMs with song lyrics if they tweeted the hashtag, “ColdWater2Days.” The lines indicate the track is an uplifting song in the vein of others featured on the singer’s last album, Purpose.
“Cold Water” is Bieber’s first new song to come out since the record dropped last November. It’s likely he’ll now incorporate it into the set list for the ongoing “Purpose World Tour.” Bieber hasn’t revealed, though, if he’s working on a new album yet. Listen to “Cold Water” below!
