Justin Bieber Pulled Over for Speeding During Paparazzi Chase on Highway

Justin Bieber was pulled over and ticketed for speeding in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Biebs was stopped in his chrome Fisker Karma after allegedly being chased by paparazzi down the 101 Freeway.

At least one eyewitness — L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine — claims Bieber was driving faster than 100 miles per hour and weaving dangerously through traffic, according to TMZ.

Bieber’s camp claims he was cited for going 80 miles per hour, and that the relentless paparazzi photographers started pursuing him again immediately after the traffic stop.

Gossip Cop has reached out to Zine and Bieber’s rep for additional information.

    Thought it was a crime in California that paparazzi were not allowed to chase stars in vehicles that cause reckless driving possibly endangering others? I don’t agree with how Bieber handled the situation but I can understand it. Why do these creeps go unpunished?

    So if the paparazzi were following him, that would mean they were speeding as well. Why weren’t any of them pulled over and cited? My guess is, because they weren’t following him as closely as his camp wants us to believe.

    This is what happens when you have a kid with a lot of money, fast toys and very little supervision. And I don’t care that he’s 18 years old, he obviously needs supervision.

    For all those who don’t believe the paparazzi were following him, the fact that there are pictures of the whole entire incident would prove your theory wrong. Just saying, let’s be real. While I do think Justin should’ve just pulled off and called the cops, it’s understandable that in the moment he just wanted to get away from the paps. Tbh, it’s a lose lose situation. If Justin had called the cops, the only thing they could’ve done was come and escort him. Paps would’ve just kept going or pulled over and taken pictures of the cops talking to Justin and then made up a story about it anyway.

    There needs to be stronger regulation against paparazzi imo. I feel like they get away with infringing on other peoples well-being and privacy way too much. Like if a celeb says “stop taking pictures of me…” paparazzi should be lawfully required to stop. Following celebs in cars, should not be allowed either. If a celeb wanted you to know where they were going, they would just call the paps, let’s be real.

    Because the celebs allow it, it gets them all kinds of free publicity and an ego driven Kid like Bieber wants everyone to know that he has this fast car that nobody else can afford so he is showing off. I sure hope he starts maturing mentally soon before he kills himself or someone else. And CA. is broke, so any revenue is good, especially when it comes from a smartass kid showing his lack of good sense. Why would anyone think it’s okay for him to drive that fast for any reason. You’re showing off Hotshot, so slow down and let them take your picture. I don’t buy it I call BS. Now come on all you tween girls, and maybe boys? let me have it.

    He needs to be charged… this is a fine example of who’s side the law is on, if it was someone else they would be throwed under jail… where is JUSTICE?… It is time for someone to take a stand…These people has gone too far with everything..They claim they are like everyday people, now they all need to be treated like all other people..

    Something should be done about the paps taking pics of celebs while they are driving. Those paps are going to keep right on until we have another Princess Di ordeal. The celebs get tired of the paps bothering them. The paps should be charged with chasing Bieber too. They charge you for talking on the cell phone, saying that it is a distraction… well taking pics of celebs while they are in the car (whether the celeb is driving or not) is a distraction to the driver also. There have been many celebs who have wrecked because of the paps, that got pushed under the rug. It’s strange that they get away with what they do. Celebs should hire their own personal photographers and get their pics taken when they want them to be taken.
