Justin Bieber Reveals New Single on Ellen; Gets Car As Birthday Gift (VIDEOS)

Justin Bieber teased earlier this week that he would have “big news” to share soon, and now Gossip Cop can reveal exclusively the singer announces his new single on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to air on Thursday.

At the taping of the show on Wednesday, Bieber revealed that his new song off his upcoming “Believe” album is called “Boyfriend” and will be released on March 26.

When DeGeneres asked, “Why is it called ‘Boyfriend,’” Bieber responded, “Basically I’m talking to this girl if I was your boyfriend I would never let you go.”

Bieber, whose birthday is Thursday, was also surprised with a tricked-out gift from his manager Scooter Braun and Usher.

Braun told Bieber on the show, “You work really really hard. I always yell at you don’t get anything flashy. You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule… So we wanted to make sure your were environmentally friendly, and we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you’re on the road you are always environmentally friendly, and we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out.”

“I think you know where I’m going and you’re kind of freaking out right now,” added Braun, who then presented Bieber with a Fisker Karma, a luxury electric sportscar.

One millionaire giving another millionaire a $100,000 car is fine – but was it necessary to display it on national tv? As far as ” not being flashy”, doesn’t justin own an actual batmobile? I felt it was a tacky move and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I am certainly not hating, just making a valuable point. Throwing money around has always been tacky in my book, and i feel now more than ever tension is high between the rich and poor. Moves like this just make it worse.

On a side note, the car he got came from a company which recieved a $530 million ” loan” from the US government. And with that money they promptly left america and set up a brand new factory in Finland. If this company fails it will be the second half billion dollar tax payer loss.

Wow Talk about POOR taste, they have to publicize the car maker to generate buzz fine. But does Beiber need another show piece to add to his collection of cars. How much does he make a year? Oh yeah what I’ll make in my lifetime. I would have 10x more respect for this manager, Beiber and the Ellen show if that money was placed toward charities that actually provide for real people not showcase on TV a car company that borrows from the US and then moves production to drive up profits.
