Justin Bieber appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Friday along with Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen, whom he recently signed to a record deal.

The Biebs talked about how he discovered the “Call Me Maybe” singer during a trip to Canada, and also shared a 15-second snippet of his upcoming single “Boyfriend.”

The song will be released in full on March 26.
