Justin Bieber Bodyguard Sentenced To 45 Days In Jail
Justin Bieber’s now-former bodyguard Hugo Hesny will spend more than a month in jail after taking a plea deal for stealing a photographer’s camera.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the incident in question took place in February of 2014 near Atlanta. Paparazzo Jason Winslow claimed he was taking pictures of Bieber when Hesny told him to stay away from the superstar. The photog claimed that as he left, Hesny chased down his vehicle and grabbed his camera.
Hesny originally denied taking the device, but it was later found in an SUV belonging to Bieber’s entourage. He later copped to the act, claiming he just wanted to delete the photos of Bieber. In Mach 2014, Hesny was indicted on two felony charges, including robbery.
As part of the plea deal, Hesny was sentenced to 45 days behind bars. He no longer works for Bieber, but other cases from their time together as still pending. As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber was sued for allegedly ordering Hesny to attack a photographer named Jeffrey Binion in Miami in 2013. Bieber’s now-infamous deposition tapes from the lawsuit went public last year.
Bieber has spoken this year about revamping his entourage so he would be around better people. This week, however, Women’s Wear Daily released an interview with the singer in which he said while he’s made mistakes, he won’t “apologize for being human.”
