‘CSI’ Did Not “Ban” Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber was allegedly “such a terror” on the “CSI” set, “he’s been BANNED from the show!” declares the National Enquirer.

Hmm. Couple of things don’t seem quite right.

Astute readers may point out, first of all, that Bieber’s Jason McCann character was killed in his last appearance, which makes it seem unlikely he’d have to be “banned” in the future.

There’s also the matter of why an allegedly “berserk” Bieber’s “horrid behavior” (in the words of an Enquirer “source”) is only being mentioned now, months after the pop star last worked on “CSI.”

Well, we’re guessing it’s because the show’s star Marg Helgenberger recently gave an interview in which she called Bieber “kind of a brat” due to some backstage mischief.

Apparently, the Enquirer used this as the basis to claim “the plan was to bring The Biebs back [to "CSI"] in the future in flashback scenes,” until the mag says he supposedly “caused so much trouble” producers had to cancel those plans.

Except that was never the case.

Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun tells Gossip Cop the story is “bulls**t all around.”

“We only agreed to two [episodes],” he informs us. “After the first we had scheduling issues and almost didn’t do the second, but they asked us to please bring him back. We did and the plan was always for [his character] to die from day one.”

There you have it.

Consider this rumor as dead as the bodies on the show.
