Justin Bieber Attending Cornell in the Fall?

Truth rating: 0

(GettyImages)

Is Justin Bieber headed to college?

A rumor floating around online Thursday claims the teen sensation will be attending Cornell University in the fall.

So, what’s the evidence?

A supposed “exclusive interview” Bieber allegedly gave to a random site called Soycberty, which claims the singer “can’t wait to finally get a taste of college life.”

The article “quotes” Bieber saying such things as “Going around touring and having girls scream at me has been exhausting,” and hinting that he may ditch his relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez to play the field, because he wants “to try to do college the right way.”

Uh-huh.

There’s just one teeny, tiny problem.

The “interview” is a complete FAKE.

A source close to Bieber tells Gossip Cop that the “Boyfriend” crooner never gave such an interview, and it’s “untrue” he’ll be attending Cornell in the fall.

Even if he went to Cornell, the only way the kid would ever pass would be if they handed a degree to him. There is no way that Beiber would ever have to brains to get through an Ivy League education without professors handing him the grades.

  • Neal032778

As a Cornell student, THIS IS THE GREATEST NEWS EVER!! I was really scared there for a few hours

  • wrong

who are you to judge his intelligence? do you personally Know him or are you basing this on the hating his music which is what has been going on since the fucking 90s and the teeny bop craze? Well i must say you are an idiot and a pompous asshole

  • fuckhaters

i highly doubt u are a Cornell student, you probably live with Mom and work part time in Walmart cause a Cornell student wouldn’t be so damn small minded jealous asshole cause this 18 year old had the cojones to do what he wanted , which is music and be a success doing, instead of dissing Justin Get your ass up and do something with your life

  • Hi haters.

Lol @NotAnIdiot and you’ll pass without professors handing you the grades? “Beiber” its BIEBER.
And LOL at you both tbh. HATERS. Yall mad? Stay mad. He’s on TOP while yall hate, ha.

    LOL at you.

He was smart enough to amass a net worth of 105 million dollars before his 18th birthday, silly notanidiot.

  • RelievedCornellian

    Thank god. I was worried.

If he went here, he would probably be in AEM, anyway. I can hardly picture him as competent enough to do anything else.

  • Coriolis

    As another Cornell student, umad?

  • Coriolis

He might have a calling in PAM.

  • CU07

    let’s get more cornellians 2 talk smack…

  • Jymguzman93

See this is just sad! I am a Cornell student too. Let me tell you something Mr. wrong. I am also very happy that Justin Bieber is not coming to Cornell, because I do not believe this would be the right place for him. And as for your vulgarity, la palabra “cojones” la podrias utilizar en tu casa, pero no en un espacio público. Yo dudo mucho que la forma en que hablas tu hayas llegado muy lejos. Me, I go to Cornell University, don’t live with my parents or work at Walmart and I completely agree with Neal’s response. What have YOU done in life? The fact that you don’t like someones opinion does not mean you need to make up things about them because you feel threatened and know you simply can’t compete with people like us, that will actually get far in life. Have a nice life MR. WRONG!

I do have to say something about this. I know the story is not true. But, I do think Justin should go to college. I mean he won’t be around forever. He’s got the hits now, but what is gonna happen in a few years or a couple more years? He just needs to think about that.

  • random person

ok…we cannot judge his intelligence, but I do think his intelligence is way above average at least in music. Know anyone that at the age of two taught himself to play the drums? At age 5 he learnt BY HIMSELF how to play the guitar. He learned how to play 4 instruments alone as a kid. He had no voice lessons until he was 14 (after he got signed). He composes. He made over 100 million BEFORE his eighteenth birthday. Hes on top. He’ll make history. Actually, he already made history. I think any college would be crazy happy to have the kid.

  • Arcachnar

Even though you are attending The Cornell Uni, you DO come over to us as a show-off and being pompous. Yes. You are. I do have to say that I rather find it disquieting that you BOTH easy judge someone by its cover. Stop doing that. It wouldn’t do any good.

We should give Justin a chance. Oh. Not all the people who got their degrees (Masters, Bachelors, et al) got or found work in their field of study. Where do they work then? McDonald’s and Walmart.

  • Arcachnar

Mozart, Beethoven and I think John Lennon and Paul did learn to play instruments without help at a young age.

  • Sheelly

Obviously, you’re as much of a moron as he is because he could NEVER get into Cornell. And it’s doubtful you could either because you can’t even read a post debunking the claim.

  • Sheelly

Written by a person who can’t string together a comprehensible sentence…

  • Christy

Actually he made over 300 million before his 17th birthday now over 400 + by his 18th. Haters can succk it. The kid is smart. Hes a straight A student and was one before he was famous. He has talent an olas over three instruments. No idiot can do that.

  • Sheelly

“Jymguzman93″ would be more credible if he/she actually used proper grammar and punctuation.

  • Sheelly

In order to be a straight-A student, you have to ATTEND school. He doesn’t.

  • RelievedCornellian

Relax, sweetie, this is a follow-up to my previous post. The reply went in the incorrect place. My intention was to stave off the aforementioned rabid fans. Plus, I’m not arrogant enough to assume that Justin Bieber would never get in. There are plenty of incredibly stupid people who go here (e.g. recruited athletes).

I read the article. I’m simply clarifying my thoughts on how I would feel if he did come here. It would be in your best interests to not mindlessly throw personal attacks at someone whose intentions you aren’t fully aware of.

  • Miles

Justin is NOT stupid #fact clearly ur the stupid one.

  • Christy

He can and will get into any college he pleases dont hate cause u cant

  • Christy

Clearly his statment is just fine. Only one who cant comprehen is you.

  • Christy

    Comprehend* (damn these iphones)

  • Mike

    Its you mad? Correction

  • Christy

Awkward moment when he did and still does do school. Clearly ur too clueless for ur own good.

  • NotAnIdiot

I am neither an idiot nor a pompous asshole. People clearly do not see the same kid that I do. As someone who actually has a deeper understanding and appreciation for music than Bieber ever could dream of with his amateurish “talent” on any instrument which he claims to be able to play, and as someone who has seen the kid speak and say literally some of the absolute dumbest things I have ever heard, I can assure you that he would survive at most in a very relaxed liberal arts curriculum at Cornell. And even so, I would never imagine them really wanting him unless he was throwing a large piece of his fortune their way. Oh and by the way, I don’t go to Cornell. I rejected Cornell in favor of another Ivy.

  • NotAnIdiot

Oh please. You are clearly all his 12-15 year old fangirls that feel that musical talent can be measured in money. If this was true, then Bieber would be broke and so many musicians which you will never hear of will have amassed much larger fortunes. Bieber is barely proficient at any instrument he claims to play, and he was easily able to gain money through the easy to sway demographic to which he was marketed. By the way, nothing in terms of money came in the form of “talent” or being “smart.” All Bieber did was sing his shitty pop songs about girls and whatnot. All the people in charge of him are responsibly for marketing, advertising, and producing him. I think those people would do great at Cornell, but not little Bieber.

  • NotAnIdiot

Great. Give Justin a chance. Just not a chance at any top university in the world because he doesn’t belong there. Not all people get to go to top universities, but you think he should because he is a rich and famous teen star? That is ridiculous. Bieber is at most of average intelligence and would not survive at a university like Cornell.

  • Sheelly

“dont hate cause u cant” Wow, I’m supposed to listen to a person who can’t spell or use words or punctuation properly? I *think* you’re implying that I’m denigrating his lack of intelligence and inability to get into a decent school, let alone an Ivy, because I can’t? I did, I went, and I graduated almost 15 years ago from one (one harder to get into than Cornell). :)

  • Sheelly

Blaming an iPhone for your (and Daniel’s) shortcomings is really pathetic.

  • NotAnIdiot

Wow. I mistyped and wrote “Beiber” instead of “Bieber.” I must not have a grasp of the English language and I must be failing all of my classes without my professors handing me grades. I actually don’t go to Cornell. I go to another Ivy, though I was accepted at Cornell and have friend that go there. There is nothing that sets Bieber apart from he thousands of people who Cornell rejects every year except for his money and fame. It is as simple as that. He is not at the level that is required of such a school and would not compete well with actually intelligent students who work very hard in their academic careers while he writes shitty pop songs.

  • Sheelly

He’s home schooled, which is not the same as attending a high school. There aren’t many standards to “operate” a home-schooling facility. My dogs could get straight As at his “school”.

  • Arcachnar

Assumptions again. How do you know if someone is not qualified for going the Uni? Even Athletes and those whose grades weren’t entirely great could still attend it by getting extra lessons. Have you seen the grades or how well he did on school? No.

Yes. Justin did answered some questions not that well, but I rather find it odd to ask him about abortion and stuff while he was too young and inexperienced.

It is not because he is famous or rich. No. I think it is fair to give everyone a chance to show his/her worth. Oh. I am not a fan of him. Before you come to that conclusion.

  • Anonymous

Language is not set in stone. But, if you want to get technical about it, your grammar is not very good. Your series in the first sentence should be separated with commas. You can’t slap on a question mark after a simple statement. And you must punctuate even when you are quoting someone. But I reiterate that grammar is not so important, as long as a person is understandable. You should try to stop being so unpleasant because of such a small thing. Why would you be so venemous all because of a few typos and grammar slip-ups?

    Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7E-aoXLZGY

Hopefully, it will open your eyes a bit.

  • Arcachnar

It depends if you are using the same learning material (at the same level) as on a regular school. Only the environment is different though.

  • Anonymous

It may not guarantee “wealth” and “success”, but it sure prepares you for a career.

  • NotAnIdiot

Apparently I can’t reply to your comment below so I will comment to this one.

    1. Cornell is one of the top universities in the world. Even people who ARE qualified may or may not ever get the opportunity to attend such a school.

    2. Your point about athletes and those without the grades is completely incorrect as Ivy League universities do not follow such a policy of actively recruiting athletes, though they may or may not be favored in the application process, and people without the grades to prov they are worthy of such a university would not even be looked at twice.

    3. I have no problem with him getting an education as he clearly needs one. A home schooled teen popstar who has proved to be immature and childish in every way certainly needs a better education. However, this does not mean that he belongs at Cornell. Cornell is not the only school that offers an education. He is not qualified for a school like Cornell in any respect.

    4. This is absolutely about his wealth and fame. This fake story would not have come about if it wasn’t and you would not have read it. The only reason he would would get such an opportunity, like many other rich and famous people at prestigious universities, is because he is rich and famous, not on merit, academic excellence, or intelligence.

    5. It’s great that you feel that everyone deserves a chance. However, this is not the way the world works. These universities have, in many cases, acceptance rates of around 10 percent. If everyone got a chance to “show their worth” then these schools would run out of room.

There is honestly nothing that sets Bieber apart from average teens except for his wealth and fame due to an easy career of appealing to the easiest demographic, young tween girls. He is of average to below average intelligence in every respect and while I agree that he should definitely get a college education, he is in no way worthy of Cornell or most any other top university just like the thousands that they reject every single year.

  • NotAnIdiot

Oh and I forgot. It is highly laughable that you talk about his inexperience and youth, and yet seem to have an absolutely warped perception of time, not realizing that the kid only became famous within the past couple years and all of his statements came from such a time frame.

I love how you seem to think that Bieber can go from dumb in his statements and answering questions, as you admit, to being worthy of a top university within a year or two.

This causes me to believe that you are, in fact, one of his little fangirls of an approximate age around maybe 14 or 15, as a couple years seems like a very long time to you. Don’t worry, when you eventually get through high school and college and see the real word, you will understand.

  • Christy

Youre an idiot because clearly what i said is correct baed upon the previous comment ass hole. And fyi i graduated 20 yrs ago from harvard. So looks like the joke is on you. Hence why the other giys corrected YOUR grammar :)

  • Lmao

Wrong again. And the ny times and many other articles about this subject will back it up.

  • Christy

Sheelly the only thing pathetic is u commenting on everything with hate mad cause ur name is pure shit. Everyone knows phones make typos on their own . If u dont know that by now then ur dumber than the spelling of ur name.

  • Arcachnar

    1) I wasn’t sure how it is was done on Ivy Uni. That’s why I said that. Some uni’s let the athletes or those who wasn’t that qualified for it.

    2) Assumptions again? I am not 14 or 15 years old, quite much older. And I have seen the real world in all its glory. More than you pampered and sheltered kids. You shouldn’t go and assume things about someone else who you do not know of. As I said before. And. I already attended high school, college and got my degrees.

    3) Warped? When someone ask you things and you are just as young or sheltered or qualified to answer some of the questions as Justin than there is a big chance that he may answer ‘dumb’. That’s the same thing if you ask a Christian to tell us about the evolution. Also. I do not know enough about him to judge him about the things he may or have said. Because I do not follow him.

    4) Yes. I think everyone should get a chance, even though I am cynical as ever.

    5) Have I said that I was a fan of him? No. Just like I said in my other post.

  • NotAnIdiot

It’s really cute how you feel that I am a sheltered and pampered kid, though I am none of those things, and yet try to criticize my view of Justin Bieber which is based on observation and tangible evidence that you also claim to understand as factual, though you claim it to be due to his being sheltered, young, and unqualified. And yet, even though you claim to not follow anything about the kid, you are quick to read an article about him, defend him, and argue in favor of him while then stating that you have no idea about him.

So, by your logic, even though you feel that Justin Bieber has every right to a Cornell education, for all you know, he could be the least intelligent and least qualified student to ever walk their campus.

For something who claims to be much older than the average Bieber fangirl, that claims to have received a college degree, and claims to not be sheltered and pampered, I must really question the validity of your views.

If you weren’t sheltered or pampered, you would completely understand that the world is not a “give everyone a chance” place. Like I said, schools like Cornell reject between 80 and 90 percent of the people that apply to them. It is a fact of life that not everyone gets a fair chance, and everyone knows that, apparently except for you.

Bieber being given the opportunity to attend Cornell would, by the way, go directly against your feeling that everyone should get a chance. If this story was actually true, he would be taking the place of someone else who was likely more qualified than him, someone who would receive a rejection letter rather than an acceptance from Cornell. He, as someone of fame and great wealth, would have greater opportunities available to him than possibly someone who worked their ass off for anything they get. So, if you actually think that Bieber or anyone like him going to a top university is a testament to the idea that everyone should be given equal opportunity, then you are sadly mistaken and perhaps more sheltered than you give yourself credit for.

  • NotAnIdiot

Isn’t that just adorable. You are pretending to be a middle aged Harvard graduate. lol If you are a day over 14 at most, then I would be surprised.

First off, if you are going to pretend to have attended one of the most prestigious universities in the world and to have graduated 20 years ago, making you about 42 years old at least, then you should try to do a better job of it.

You use internet colloquialisms such as “fyi,” “haters,” “ur,” smiley faces, and several others that place you in a younger age group, to which I have estimated a maximum age in the 14 year old range. There is no 40 year old Harvard graduate who would exhibit such behavior. So, that is very laughable.

Second, as a “Harvard graduate” you would understand the prestige associated with a school that rejects about 90 percent of applicants and you would know that Justin Bieber in no way meets the standards set forth by the Harvard student body, or any top tier college for that matter, including Cornell.

You can enjoy going through your little tween phase of feeling that Justin Bieber is the most talented individual on the face of the Earth. I can only hope that one day you gain a deeper knowledge of music and true talent, and understand that Bieber is just a minimally talented teen that was effectively marketed towards your easily manipulated age group.

what Frederick answered I’m blown away that some people can earn $4430 in four weeks on the internet. did you see this web page>>> http://realjobseeker.blogspot.in/

  • Arcachnar

Huh? I clearly said that I’m usually very cynical. Perhaps, I was not clear enough. I know that there is small chance that people can attend/qualified to go to an uni. And. I actually did attend high school/college and finished them. Also, like I said I have seen the real world in all its glory. Never been sheltered either. Why should I lie about myself, when I am proud of who I am? Never done in the past and will never happen.

I was talking about the most of the kids who are sheltered and pampered. Not about you. I cannot judge you, because I do not know anything about you nor that much about Justin.

Perhaps I was not very clear, but I was talking about this interview where they asked things while he is too young, inexperienced to talk about it. Abortion, etc. That’s what I meant. Other interviews of what I have seen (a couple) are about teenage stuff. No actual real world dilemma’s.

Why I’m defending him? I noticed a lot of assumptions about his intellect. Which dumb things did he actual said? Because, you seem to follow him and knows all the things he may have said.

Calling me a fan, while I actually state the fact that I wasn’t (a couple of times) is plain wrong.

Like I said before, some universities took in athletes and those who are not that qualified, yet. If it is still is done? I have no idea.

The chances of getting qualified or attending an uni like that, quite small, indeed. You do not need to tell me that. But stranger things have happened.

I stated that I do not THAT much about him, not that I do not know him. Please be observant. Same about the fan thing.

  • Arcachnar

    Huh?

  • NotAnIdiot

I love how quickly your position has deteriorated. You go from defending Justin Bieber, to claiming you know barely anything about him, to judging sheltered people, to saying you didn’t mean me but “most of the kids who are sheltered and pampered,” without realizing the irony in your statement as you are still judging other people. Not to mention that your first post as a reply to Jymguzman93 involves a judgement that he is both a show-off and pompous. For someone who is clearly all about judgement, it makes you look very weak to stand down and say “I didn’t mean it like that” and whatnot.

I also don’t understand how you telling me that you are cynical will strengthen your stance that everyone deserves a chance to attend a school that most people won’t get the chance to go to, regardless of how many shitty pop songs they write. This point makes absolutely no sense.

Once again, your defense on previous interviews where Bieber gave answers while being too young, you seem to forget that this “too young” that you speak of was merely a couple years ago at most since Justin Bieber has only been “famous” since around 2008 or 2009. If you think that he really went from being an idiot to Ivy League material from maybe 15 to his current age, then, like I said, you have a very warped perception of reality, time, and people.

By the way, your statement “but stranger things have happened” once again works against you by showing that you would feel it was strange for this kid to be able to attend such a school as Cornell.

Geez, I wonder what school you went to and what degree they gave you. I am no longer going to reply if you respond because this discussion needs to end. You are clearly either lying and trolling, or you are telling the truth, in which case you are clearly not very intelligent. Although, since I’m sure you will want to reply and defend against all of my points once again, further proving that you are butthurt by the validity of my statements, I will attempt to deter you with some trolling of my own.

The person below me is an ignorant, defensive, contradictory, Beiber loving imbecile that argues unintelligently.

  • Arcachnar

I agree about the fact that a lot of his more rabid fans will go to see him and doing crazy stuff in the process. No. It wouldn’t do him or the uni any good.

  • Arcachnar

Sorry, I’m usual better with this, but it had been a long day.

    1) I defended him, because you came with assumptions. Please tell me which dumb things he may have said.

    2) Why would I lie about myself? I also rather find it offensive. Because, I’m always been truthful. Meaning, I do not troll, lie or being stupid. Another assumption of you.

    3) Excuse me? I never judged sheltered people. You missed the point that I meant that I have seen the real world unlike some. I never mentioned you. Perhaps I wrote it wrong, because English is not my first language.

    4) Cynical? Yes I’m. But I’m too tired explain it now. Perhaps later.

    5) You seem to know a lot of him. Yes. I actually seen his interviews (not wanting to admit that), but as far I have seen are about love or not real world related.

Only that particular one that I mentioned (and meant) before was about abortion and some couple of other things. Not exactly the right stuff to ask a guy of that age. I was not talking about all his interviews. I think that this is case of misunderstanding.

    6) The last part of your post was offensive, wrong and assumptions while you do not know anything about me. Who is judging now. But. Perhaps you got carried away and said this in anger.

    7) You and I do not know THAT much about him.

Now, that this said, I will go to bed. For I am too tired and it is really getting late. We could carry on the conversation with clear minds. Until then.

you do know he has people for that. i’m not calling him stupid or anything, but let’s get the facts straight, he has people who works for him to do his investments and shenanigans. even the richest people who could be smart have people to do that shenanigans for them.

But yet if someone tells you about YOURSELF calling YOU a liar and proving you to be the idiot you really are youd be pissed. Grow up CHILD. Looks like your name shows the idiot you REALLY ARE.

I can’t believe you actually think you are going to convince anyone that you are an adult in any way. You are never going to fool me. I actually do attend an Ivy League University and I have enough of a brain to see that you are no more than a tween girl that loves Justin Bieber and thinks he is the greatest person to walk the planet.

There is no intelligent adult who would ever equate intelligence to wealth as you do, let alone a Harvard graduate. Like I said before, your level of speech is of the average tween girl. It goes much further than using lol and smiley faces.

In summary, your mommy needs to monitor your internet usage. You may think you are a big girl and you are so internet tough, but you neglect to see how predictable you are. It is perfectly clear to me, as someone who is in no way jealous (as I actually DO attend an Ivy), that you are, in fact, lying.

Which of course makes this even more adorable. It’s so cute to see little teen girls get behind their favorite “artist” because he is soooo smart and talented and he deserves everything. Within a couple years, you will move onto your next little phase and hopefully one day you will get to attend a good university, though it is not likely to be Harvard, Cornell, or any other top tier university.

  • Christy

Awkward moment when im grown. 30 yrs old with my TWO college degrees. And I happen to also play 5 instruments. Funny how you claim he has no talent yet I can name millions of people one of which being the great Steve Wonder and LA Reid who will disagree. Even people like Simon Cowell will disagree. The fact you grown ass people spend your time hating on a young kid whom youve never as so much seen in person shows how immature you all are. And “little bieber” judging from his maturity agaisnt yours. He is the bigger person. Cause we all know if this blog was about you and people said mess about you, you would be the FIRST one whining like a little prick. Dont dish put what you cannot take.

  • May

Actually he manages his money and music himself. He has control over what he does. Clearly you dont know anything.

  • Christy

Awkwars moment when i happent to know exactly 20 people who were homeschooled and those sorry ass public schools couldnt last one minute teaching anything those student learnt. Public school geade percentages are LOW. so clearly you need to do your research.

  • Christy

Archanar is right. You are wrong

  • Christy

Archanar when you comprehend NOONE sends death threats then ull go far in life.

  • Christy

This notanidiot is making a fool of ITSSELF.

  • NotAnIdiot

It gets cuter and cuter every time you write a reply. Since you are 30 years old and have “TWO” college degrees, at least one coming from Harvard 20 years ago, I can only assume that you were a child prodigy who was attending college while your peers were in elementary school. And, that is great that you “play 5 instruments” as I also play several instruments myself. As a musician, you would then be able to understand that Bieber really has no talent outside of maybe a somewhat satisfactory singing voice. On any instrument which he claims to play, he can’t do much more than what I or anyone else who has played an instrument was able to do at a beginner level.

He claims to play trumpet, guitar, drums, and piano. I have seen videos of him playing each of these and he is no way proficient at any of these instruments beyond what I would expect a first year, elementary or middle school aged person to be able to play. As for his singing voice, when he first came out, he sounded like a whiny girl. I honestly could not believe that it was a teenage boy that I was hearing, though I will chalk that up to him being prepubescent at the time. However, any vocal talent he may possess is destroyed by his use of cliche lyrics about the lamest possible topics, mainly relationships, which is funny since he is just a young kid. Every song from him that is popular has to do with love and girls and whatnot. He has no lyrical talent and provides nothing original that hasn’t been done before. Like I said before, he is just a product of a successful marketing strategy towards the most easily manipulated demographic, tween girls. This fact is regardless of what any professional “artist” may have to say about his so-called “talent.”

Also, if this article was about me, nobody would have anything to say because unlike Justin Bieber, I can get into Cornell and I DID get into Cornell along with many top tier schools, and I earned that through my own hard work. I would have no bitching to do about any such thing, because I know for sure that I possess much more talent in many respects than Justin Bieber ever could.

Your attempts to provide a rebuttal against your intellectual superior will not work. The fact that you actually believe that this kid is basically a god and that he is the greatest person to walk the planet shows that you are mentally weak and musically unsophisticated.

Maybe one day, you will grow up to be just as smart as Bieber and both of you could go to Cornell or Harvard or any school of your choosing! You could be the two smartest people on the planet and spread your great talents! I look forward to your significant accomplishments that further the progress of humanity, as this is clearly the level that Justin Bieber is on. lol Every generation of kids becomes more ignorant and stupid than the last.

  • Jymguzman93

Honey, criticize my grammar all you want, but that is all you seem to be able to do. I am guessing you agree with everything I say. BTW, just in case you didn’t know this, this is an informal discussion. I don’t need to sit here and edit my comment to make it perfect. I leave that for when I am writing for my classes or professors. Also, as a bilingual person, who learned English by himself, I was still accepted at Cornell. So, if you have issues with the way I write, you might want to get a job at Cornell and teach me. Or you could also take your complaints to the Admissions office and see why they accepted me. Otherwise, you can just refrain from making stupid comments about grammar just because you do not have a rebuttal to the argument. Oh! And something else, the fact that you have so much time to sit here and read people’s comments and review their grammar, shows me how successful you have been in life. Get a real job Hun!

  • JRG

    And you do???

  • Jymguzman93

Jesus Christ girl! You are ADORABLE!!! I am certain that Harvard does not accept people who do not show full comprehension of at least pronouns! Listen, let me teach you something honey. The pronoun “it” is only used for objects or animals, not for PEOPLE. So the fact that you say “ITSELF” shows how pathetically dumb you really are. Please honey, go get an English tutor ASAP, otherwise your mother will slap you when you show her your English grade! Now get off the internet and go hit those books. After all, you really wanna be as smart as your idol Bieber! ;)

PS: I am only saying this because you decided to criticize my grammar. Just returning the favor ;)

  • NotAnIdiot

The hilarity in your statement is greatly due to the fact that YOU are actually making a fool of YOURself.

On several occasions you have asserted things which are simply not true. For one, you claim to be a Harvard graduate of 20 years while also claiming later on two be a 30 year old with two college degrees. These two statements already contradict each other along with your choice of diction which includes “haters” and several other terms that show your age/intellect quite well.

Furthermore, you embarrass yourself by the asserting that Justin Bieber is one of the most talented and intelligent individuals on the planet, and that somehow his wealth and fame serve as proof to the idea that he is worthy of any institution of higher learning that he chooses. You clearly have no idea of the way in which the world works and are ignorant to the ideas that you have been sold. All it took for you was radio stations playing this kids songs on the radio, people putting him on tour, a movie being made about him, and a few other marketing strategies to make you passionately defend the honor of some average, minimally talented, ignorant, and unintelligent child that is barely good at what he does.

You can keep on living in your dream world during your tween years, but I truly hope for the greater good of humanity that you and all people like you will develop into thinking and hardworking adults, because, after all, I am going to have to spend the entirety of my life on this planet with you, as voters, as citizens, as peers, and as humans, and I would rather be surrounded by people who think than people who don’t.

  • Christy

Awkward moment when i said ITSELF on PURPOSE. Jokes on you.

  • Christy

Did anyone read this childs lecture above? I sure as hell didnt.

  • Mike

Nope. I didnt haha. Im with you. I have a life other than to spend time reading that crap.

  • Anna

I thought i was the only one who thought that person was psycho. Looks like others agree.

  • Christy

The fool clearly isnt aware I said ITSELF on purpose. How hilariously sad. This person needs prayer.

  • Tyler

That person said that you said justin was the most talented and smartest person. When CLEARLY you didnt. Werid.

  • Christy

    Exactly.

  • NotAnIdiot

“Actually he made over 300 million before his 17th birthday now over 400 + by his 18th. Haters can succk it. The kid is smart. Hes a straight A student and was one before he was famous. He has talent an olas over three instruments. No idiot can do that.”

  • NotAnIdiot

    1. I am aware of your usage of “itself” and I completely understood that you meant to use it. I take no offense to it as it simply reflects on your person.

    2. I find it very funny how you refuse to read. It is the same ignorance that has lead to your overwhelming support of celebrity fame.

    3. I am basically about to die laughing from your statement about me needing prayer. That further plays into your ignorance as you are clearly a crowd following, blind faith type person who follows everything that they have been told to believe.

    4. Since you probably won’t read the truth that I have written above, simply because it is too long for you, I will summarize my statements. I called you out for lying about your education and age. I also called you out for willingness to believe that Bieber is a superior human being.

  • NotAnIdiot

Yes. You have such a great life because you didn’t read what I wrote above.

Isn’t it cute that you still had the “life” to find out about this fake news story, find this article on this dumb website explaining that its fake, read at least some of the comments, and reply with a comment of your own? Apparently you “life” has plenty of room for such activities.

  • NotAnIdiot

Actually even better than that one is “He can and will get into any college he pleases dont hate cause u cant.”

This would imply that he is at least in the upper couple percent of students around the world as there is apparently no barrier to his acceptance at any university. I’m sure this means he not only got straight A’s, but also received perfect SAT/ACT scores and has many qualifying factors that allow him to far surpass the average college applicant as almost no one on this planet can go to any school that they choose without being a genius of some sort.

So, basically, ding dong actually did both say and imply that Justin Bieber is a highly intellectual being that is far more intelligent than most people his age.

  • Jymguzman93

Wow! Seriously girl, you are hilarious. If you say that you graduated from Harvard however many years ago, don’t you have a job or a hobby or something other than being here making a fool out of yourself? You cannot compare intellectually to NotAnIdiot or me and you reply with such childish things. It seems like you ran out of things to say to defend your little Justin Bieber. See, deep inside you know that you are a fool. You know you are here because you are a little fan girl, and think that you have the knowledge necessary to argue with us. You know you can’t find anything smart or witty to say, and you definitely know that you would never, ever be part of an Ivy league institution. As I said earlier hun, go hit the books. You might want to at least try to do something with your life other than disrespecting others opinions. Give up the act, we understand it is easy to fabricate a past online, but you just can’t imitate intelligence. Go to bed hun, it’s probably past your bedtime already! ;)

  • Jymguzman93

Sir, I would advice you to look at ALL the evidence before making verdicts or comments on discussions.

  • Jymguzman93

Hun, you also seem to have selective amnesia. SEEK HELP!

Let me use your own language to see if you understand what I’ve been trying to tell you. “…dont hate cause u cant”

With your attitude and intelligence (utilizing only your comments as evidence) you will not get too far in life. Sorry hun, you just have to understand: Ivy League schools are not for everyone. Do some research on Ivy’s and then come back to the discussion. Once you do that, you will have a better chance at understanding what is going on here. :)

  • Jymguzman93

Psycho – “A person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior.”

I do not pick up any abnormal or violent behavior from this person. He/She (NotAnIdiot) is simply stating his/her opinion utilizing facts and rebutting other people’s arguments. That seems like a completely normal social behavior to me.

Are you sure that the fact that he/she is differing from your opinion isn’t what is really bothering you? It’s okay not to agree with somebody else’s opinion. What is not okay is to attack them without having a reason to do so. :)

  • Arcachnar

You do not need to call everyone a psycho who doesn’t agree with you. First you are calling me one, (because I debunked your statements about Selena) and now others. Strange. You kept on saying that you wasn’t a fan, but you are everywhere to defend Justin on a rabid way.

  • Arcachnar

Gossip cop really need to something about the relying buttons. So I have to answer your last post like this.

They actually did send death threats to Selena, Kim or anyone who seems to date him. Go and search the internet. You know that I’m right. Don’t think it will give the real fans and Justin a good reputation. You really cannot barge in someone’s love life, because he does not see any of you as his girlfriend. Get over it and find someone who lives in your area. There are a lot of guys (real men) you can meet at school, bar, disco, sport or in your church.

  • Matthew

Says the kid who is on the damn article too. Ha.

  • Christy

Says gymn… Whatever. This person who has the audacity to tell me about myself and others. Funny. Hea probably pissed cause he cant get into a proper school. And clearly ive sated i went to an ivy league scholl myself so your argument is valid how? Hun? Ha. I’m grown kiddo. Once he realizes he is not position to determine where anyone goes and what school is right for someone then he will go somewhere in life. He is thw one who needs help and it shows. “dont hate cause you cant” was refering to the comment ABOVE it. If you had some sense you would know that. Pathetic.

  • Christy

Awkward ass moment when this fool above tells me that IT knew what was j referrig to when clearly judging from the response IT didnt. The fool is mad as hell that I CHOOSE to not read its obvious stupidity and anger put towards something it cant can do shit about. Funny. What i pity more than anything is fools on the other side of a computer who hasnt even so much as hears my voice yet have the nerve to tell ME how old I am and what school i attended. HILARIOUS. yet if aomeone tried to tell them about themselves theyd get the ass. Its cute. Very cute.

  • Faith

I thought it was bullshit how the dude tells you about YOUR own religion saying you believe what youre told to. Thats shows true ignorance right there.

  • Christy

I said before and I meant it when i said i dont have time nor the time to lose perfect brain cells reading that fools dumb invalid lecture. Im not his child. Im a damn adult who answers to NOONE. I dont have time for children who name themselves “notanidiot” only idiots say do that. And I dint give ANY fucks. Anout IT questioning MY reglion. Cause thats dumn right there. Cause saying that when The moron doesnt know the FIRST THING about myself is a joke. And what im told to believe? Ha last tkme i checked he dont know a damn thing about what i was told. I CHOSE my religion and i sticking by it and there isnt shit that thing can do about it. Because i can clearly you use the statement vice versa. But i have better things to do. Im out. Dont have time for losers who love to “blog argue” on a site that is barely creditable. To fools who seek out to
Prove someome wrong yet mad when people do the same to them

  • Faith

I agree. Im a christian and proud not changing for anyone anything. People who question that question have no self respect and no respect for others

  • Arcachnar

Agree. I really think that he really needs to come with a backup plan if things does not go that well anymore in the music or in the acting business.

He also needs to immerse himself into the more mature topics that go on in the real world. He comes of as a bit ignorant how the real world works. Even though his mother did not have a peaceful past. I do have to remind you, that the people who interviewed him only asked simple questions about love, girls and music all the time. No actual mind ogling questions that could tingle his brains.

Yes. The Rolling Stone magazine did ask him once about abortion and stuff, but I really do not think he was the right person for that. Why? Because he was too young and inexperienced to answer that. Moreover, he is actual religious. Same thing if you ask a hard-core Christian about the evolution.

  • John Patterson

Well and im a male and i attended oxford. And I think the Biebs has a great head on his shoulders And its a fact he is intellgent and smart. Anyone who say otherwise then are just looking to hate on him for pointless reasons. Especially when they do not know him in the slightest. Oxford would welcome him. Any college filled with maturity would. Who is anyone to descriminate? Unless they are on the board of a school then they have no purpose in posting hate on the kid. Ive watched ur “discussion” online since the first post cause i was interested in the topic and i must give my hand to you christy and random person, tx…., strawberry.. ,faith, miles, and Espically wrong. So people should mature up. Cause i do see where this argument has lead anyone? Nothing.

  • Christy

    Bravo!!!!!!! And thanx!

  • Miles

    Loved this ^^^^^^

  • Jymguzman93

Haha! You crack me up girl! So, let me start by saying that in a previous comment I stated that I am currently a Cornell student. That is the only reason why this topic was somewhat relevant to me, because it involved MY school. Therefore affecting me in one way or another.
See, there comes a time when you lie too much that no matter what the truth is, you still look pathetic. Here it goes:
    Scenario #1:
You are not a Harvard alumnus and you just made that up in order to feel that your opinion was more valid. It’s completely okay to comment here even if you don’t go to an Ivy. After all, this is just people giving their opinion. You, on the other hand, feel the need to be sassy and mean to people in order to feel validated. That speaks about your self-worth and your education: not only at school, but at home too where you should have been taught manners.
Evidence for this scenario: Your speech pattern has PRESENT TEEN written all over it. To tell you the truth, you don’t sound intelligent enough to be a Harvard alumnus. Your supposed age should be of around 40 years old, which is an issue that I will address in the next scenario.
    Scenario #2:
You are truly a Harvard alumnus, and graduated 15 years ago. Apparently, from the evidence you have posted here, it seems that Harvard (during the years in which you attended at least) did not stress too much the importance of writing at least in a comprehensive manner. You are at least a middle aged woman and apparently your Harvard degree didn’t provide you with the tools necessary to get a proper job, or if it is that you have been so successful in life that you have already been able to retire, then find a hobby for people your age. What I am trying to say is, if you seriously graduated from Harvard 15 years ago, get a life hun! I highly doubt that you graduated from Harvard simply because of your speech pattern. INTELLIGENCE CANNOT BE IMITATED.
Evidence for this scenario: The fact you yourself said you were a Harvard alumnus. Not believable to me.

Now going forth to address your last issue. Your quote “…dont hate cause you cant” was simply used so you miss/little girl would understand what I was trying to tell you. I know where I got the quote from, I am not a moron.
    A piece of information:
Once you place any writing on a public forum, like this one, everyone (hence the term public) is allowed to at least quote from it. Just letting you know.

Now, I am going to go study for some PRELIMS. Don’t worry if you don’t know what this means, only Cornell students use this term. Hope you grow up to be a fine woman little Christy. Or I hope that you find a job or a hobby Miss Christy. Have a nice life hun! Remember: RESPECT PEOPLE’S OPINIONS! :)

  • Jymguzman93

I respect your opinion Mr. John Patterson, but just using your own words against you. Are you telling us that you are part of the Oxford University board. You have stated that in order to be able to comment about this matter you need to be part of the school board. Are you in the Admissions board in order to be able to state “Oxford would welcome him”? Or are you generalizing your opinion and making the assumption that everyone at Oxford would agree with it? Just wondering…

  • NotAnIdiot

Isn’t that fascinating. Apparently, since you have attended Oxford, you must be the highest authority on deciding who is “intelligent and smart,” even though those two words mean the same thing so I am not really sure why you felt the need to use both.

I also do not understand in any way how feeling that a teen popstar is not qualified academically or intellectually to be able to attend one of the top universities in the world is any indication at all of the maturity of that person. According to you, just for simply disagreeing with your viewpoint, anyone else must be immature. How cute.

By the way, you just contradicted yourself. You clearly do not serve on the board of a school, yet you assume that Oxford would welcome Justin Bieber and you are quick to give judgement on his intellect. For an Oxford student, I would definitely expect better reasoning skills than that.

  • NotAnIdiot

This is getting funnier every time. You refuse to read a few paragraphs at most, yet I am expected to believe that you make well thought out decisions which require tons of research and reading! That’s great. You clearly are not a scientist, engineer, mathematician, writer, or any other thing which requires such work.

If you can’t read a short reply than you definitely haven’t read your bible. You probably understand nothing about its origins, the contradictions and fallacies it contains, and I am definitely certain that you never CHOSE your religion directly as I am sure that you have never studied any other religion. You simply follow the same beliefs as your family. I could spend forever on such a topic but it would be wasted.

By the way, you do realize that you are also “blog arguing,” right? And, if you are, in fact, an adult, you have still lied on a couple occasions about your age and education, a behavior that is to be expected of teenaged girls, as no adult would feel the need to lie over the internet.

Actually, the absolute funniest part of what you said was that you know that I claim to have understood your usage of “itself.” This PROVES that you at least read a part of my response yet you claim to not waste the time to read it.

Maybe if you didn’t equate reading with losing braincells, then you would understand that reading can actually do a lot for you. That is what is wrong with the majority of people. They subscribe to the popular belief to which they were acquainted and absolutely REFUSE to look at the evidence, learn about the evidence, and ude it to formulate your own beliefs. And, as I keep seeing, you fall into that hole perfectly.

  • Jymguzman93

Wow you lose brain cells when you READ!!!!!! With the curriculum of Ivy League Institutions, you more than likely have no brain cells left. Ivy’s make us read… A LOT!

  • NotAnIdiot

And this is ignorance how? If “Christy” was born in another country like India, she would likely be Hindu as this accounts for the largest portion of the population. If she was born in Saudi Arabia, she would likely be Muslim. If she were born in Israel, she would likely be Jewish. Religion is nothing but a product of geography and family tradition. I highly doubt that Christy comes from a Buddhist family, yet chose to follow the religion which she has chosen.

I am not ignorant in stating what I did. I WAS religious as a child for the same reason that you and Christy are religious, because it surrounds you and you grew up with it and whatnot. However, as I grew older and studied it myself, I was able to completely understand the human mechanisms needed to forge these religious stories. People have so many questions that they feel they cannot answer, so the answer they throw in is god. They need a purpose to life and there must be a way they got there so they create a god. They are afraid of death so they need a god to escape it. My beliefs are NOT out of ignorance, they are out of observation, research, and understanding.

However, this is not a religious debate. This is about young girls feeling that intelligence has anything to do with money and that fame has anything to do with being academically qualified to attend a top university. The bottom line is that Justin Bieber has no true talents that would make him do well at any such university. He isn’t any good at the instruments he plays, though his singing voice may be considered okay. He is home schooled on the side of his music career, and I’m sure doesn’t do anything spectacularly complicated in terms of the curriculum which he receives.

People who go to a school like Cornell have gone above and beyond what their peers have done academically. Like I have said before, about 90 percent of applicants are rejected every year from schools like this. Besides his fame and wealth which would be the only pull he would have to go to such a selective school, he has nothing to offer to the Cornell student body.

  • NotAnIdiot

Matthew, I never claimed anything about my own life or about me reading the article or commenting. However, since it seems very important to you I will tell you that I am actually currently studying at one of the top universities in the world for an engineering degree. As finals are approaching, I am spending much time on my computer studying and finishing up my work. Since I still have a decent amount of spare time, I see no problem in spending a little of my time to read articles, however stupid they are, and write comments as I please.

  • NotAnIdiot

Jymgusman93 is absolutely correct. To further his well thought out and accurate comment I would like to put the evidence directly in front of us in the form of two “Christy comments.”

“Awkward moment when im grown. 30 yrs old with my TWO college degrees.”

“And fyi i graduated 20 yrs ago from harvard.”

These two things simply cannot coexist. As I explained before, the only way this would happen would be if you started at Harvard at the young age of of 6. lol

Christy, if you are going to try to lie at least try very hard.

As Jymgusman93 said, “intelligence cannot be imitated.” We have both discovered the truth of your person, yet you keep trying to feed the same lie to us over and over and over again as if we are going to accept it.

WE KNOW YOU ARE NOT AN ADULT.

WE KNOW YOU NEVER ATTENDED AN IVY.

There is nothing you are going to say to reverse these beliefs as they have been apparent in each and every one of your posts.

  • NotAnIdiot

You hit the nail on the head, man.

I wish there was a better way to get these kids to actually do something productive. I would have no problem with their ignorance if they weren’t going to one day, in a few years, become drivers, voters, workers, and many other things which may or may not directly impact my life. I am so sick and tired of these kids subscribing to every idea with which they are bombarded .

Justin Bieber was successfully marketed to them and he is rich, so he MUST be very intelligent and we just don’t understand. Christy is credible because she is a 30 year old Harvard graduate with two degrees from 20 years ago, which makes her way smarter than us (you can tell by her excellent command of the English language).

I aspire to one day be as musically enlightened as Christy and all others like her, and I really hope that one day I can go to Harvard and have two degrees, too. Christy, you are the smartest person I have ever encountered and you are the hero of the human race. Actually, second hero. Justin Bieber gets to be the first hero since he is the smartest human being on the face of the earth.

  • Jymguzman93

@NotAnIdiot Thanks for the support. It is simply obvious that this Christy person is not an adult nor has been part of an Ivy League Institution. At least there is someone else here who does not close his eyes to this obvious truth. Good luck on your future endeavors, you seem to have the intelligence to get far in life.

  • Jymguzman93

All I can say is, I completely agree. I mean I seriously don’t understand how we have not heard of this amazing genius who graduated Harvard when she was ten years old!!!! With not one, but TWO degrees!!! Seriously Media Coverage in this country is getting worse and worse with the years! ;)

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/AEUAZYWY7P2BNXDBOSCWNDUZFM Vicky

just as Luis replied I cant believe that any body can earn $7767 in a few weeks on the internet. have you read this link !!! http://Gotoonlinejob.blogspot.in

  • Arcachnar

About speaking of religion. Let’s hope that this debate about Justin will not descend into a religious one. Why? It can happen very quickly. I say thus out of experience. If it still happens, I will not get involved in it. I haven’t got the urge to discuss this for weeks anymore. Yes. That’s how long it went the last couple of times. With Bible quotes and everything that you can think of. Interesting, but extremely tiring.

  • NotAnIdiot

I completely agree. Whenever an argument about religion starts, its always a war between those with minimal knowledge and blind faith versus those who have real evidence and science behind them. It is an absolute waste of time to try and teach reason to those who will not accept it, and thus, religious debate is almost always senseless useless.

However, it should be understood that I never brought up religion to start with. “Christy” made the assertion that I need prayer. By her ignorant statements, she brought the topic of religion into discussion.

I could sit here and quote whatever I wanted and get some of the most intelligent scientists the world has ever seen to provide evidence which disproves common religious beliefs, and people like “Christy” would never change their ignorant thoughts which they have been raised to believe. Of course, to satisfy her I would probably have to bring in Bieber because he is, of course, the most intelligent person that ever lived. But he, of course, believes the same garbage as her, because “God has a plan” especially for people that get raped.

It’s okay anyways because today’s religions will eventually die off like all irrational ancient religions, hopefully not to lead the way for a new string of ignorant beliefs. Ding dongs like the people in this forum arguing for Bieber are always going to be at the bottom of the intellectual pool of our world, and people who are real thinkers will always be the ones in charge. If these Bieber lovers were in charge, the world would get nowhere.

  • Anon

    So true

  • Chace

This ignorance above? PATHETIC. Christy keep
Your opinion strong. Theyre just immature ignorant human beings thirsty for arguments and chances to prove they have “intelligence” that they truely dont have, and it shows. And by the
    Looks of it others agree.

  • Christy

Another awkward moment when that “imnotanidiot” IDIOT tries to state what race I am and FAILS. What religion I am and FAILS. And then tries to say why I chose to religion I chose and fails at that. The fact that this person is EVEN trying to tell me about my religions and think he/she whatever the hell it is, to try and even say anything about me in general when this fool doesnt even so much as know me personally shows not only th true ignorance within but the pityful upbringing this individual has had. Let someone tell him/her about themselves and watch the whining begin.

  • Christy

Awkward moment when this fool tries to state what race I am and Fails. What religion I am an fails. And why I choose to be the religion I am and FAILS. This person not only needs to be taught what a good fashioned ass whooping is but needs to go back to school to get the education he/she THINKS have. The ignorance of this jackass to even think for a second the piece of shit comments he makes are valid cracks me up.

  • Anon

I couldnt agree more. Best believe he wouldnt say a damn thing to your face.

  • Jason

Bravo! I agree. Im a christian and proud and the act that this person has the nerve to tell you what to believe and why you believe it is just dumb and pure stupidty. Atheist are nothing but angry fools trying to sit up and tell others what to believe. I happen to have over 15 different cultures and races in my family and I know countless people of different ethnic backgrounds and not ONE of them are told what to believe or have a belief pushed on them. They choose and thats their right and that asshole has no right to say anything agaisnt it. Hea just pressed cause the world doesnt operate the way he wants and people dont think they way he wants. Hes nothing but a jerk looking for an argument cause he has noone else to talk to.

  • Christy

Thank you. I wouldnt know anything what the moron said tbh. I just skimmed it cause I dont have time to read their bullshit. Ive gotten over 20 + likes from each comment ive made and other people like you have commented and agreed. So that tells me all i need to know. Im glad you too agree and see just how immature and down right cruel and demented people are. I pray for this weak
Generation. Its sad people like this even exist to be honest. Claiming to be so intellgent yet they spend time on a site about someone whom they clearly dont like, (obvious jealousy) arguing with everybody trying to tell them how to think, talk, and act as of theyre someones damn parent is stupid. They dont like the kid yet look at how much of their “productive” and “great” lives they spend on him and others whom they think they are better than. Ridiculous. So dont worry about it love. Theyre not worth our time. At all. No matter what they say they cant change anything and cant do anything.

  • Jason

I couldnt agree more. I read their comments and quickly regretted it after the first sentences. I couldnt stop laughing. I showed my wife the comments and she just shook her head. She couldnt believe these people. I cant wait to print all these out to give to my friend to post on his blog. His friends will have a field day wih these people.

  • Miles

Ha! Please do. Im sure it will be good. Theres no doubt other people need to read this and comment. I suggest not reading any more of what they say. Theyre childish.

  • Jason

They are and yes I will. It will be quite entertaining.

  • Christy

They are. Thinking its cute to insult others whom they dont even know yet get pissed when they themselves get insulted? How dumb.

  • Christy

Exactly and do that. Im going to print these out and show them to my colleges. They always love a good debate.

  • Lmao

    I officially love you haha.

  • Lmao

    This ^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • Lmao

    Soooooo true!

  • Lmao

Dont let hate het to you. Rise above it :)

  • Lmao

    True!

  • Christy

  • Sarah

Thats the internet for em lol

  • Lmao

Haha i hate haters like these

  • Lmao

Always so much to type et they hate him so much. Smh

  • Anon

Theyre just mad behind a computer screen.

  • Miles

Cracked me up to. I loved ur comments. I must say. Claps to you.

  • Christy

Thank you love. Just standing up for what i believe in. Defending myself and my opinion. What me and you both have the right to do. Thank you for your support and kindness.

  • Miles

    I totally agree. Your welcome!

  • Dennis

Anyone who calls a person ignorant because they are religious are ignorant themselves. Fact.

  • Christy

Thank you. Funny how the fool says that yet I can name countless people smarter and do educated than he will ever be me being one of them who are relgious and proud and he cant do anything about it. Hes is a fool in every way. And my opinion about him is permanent.

  • Dennis

Exactly. I hate people lile that. Pissed cause he wants everyone to believe there is no god. Which is a lie and a dumb viee at that. People like that who get the ass at people who dont think the way they do. Tragedy. I see the bigger person is you and the others standing for what is right. Like someone else stated on here at the end of the day justin is where he is in life living an amazing one at that while they are bitter angry roaches scampering for arguments online about someone they “dont like”. Does justin care? NOPE. Im An adult and real adults to sit up and BULLY YES BULLY, torment, and talk pure crap about a kid who had done NOTHING TO THEM. Theyre mature they say? Prove it. Thank god my nieces and nephews are more mature than these people. Golden rule last time i checked was if you dont have anything positive to say dont say it. Do thwy know justin? No. Have they met justin? No. Have they even seen this kid in person? No. So how is their opinions relevant?

  • Anon

Amen. Theyre not relevant at all. They need to grow up most definitely. What kind of men sit up and post hate and rude comments about people who they dont know? Ill will never understand it. But hey its whatever can help them sleep at night.

  • Christy

    Dennis you said it perfectly.

  • Anon

    He did

  • NotAnIdiot

    1. “I wouldnt know anything what the moron said tbh. I just skimmed it cause I dont have time to read their bullshit.”

Isn’t that funny because you sure do seem to know what I said.

    2. “So that tells me all i need to know.”

Perfect example of you accepting something that is told to you because it makes you feel good about yourself.

    3. “No matter what they say they cant change anything and cant do anything.”

Beautiful. I acknowledged this. I know that for someone who believes in the irrational and scientifically impossible, there is clearly nothing to say to make you believe otherwise. You are a “belief by faith” type person that can simply dismiss everything that makes sense because the presented idea sits well with what you want to believe.

  • NotAnIdiot

Jason, would you mind discussing a little bit of your upbringing? How are you basing this idea that none of the people you know are told what to believe? You must not understand what I meant by my statement. What I mean is that most religious people are raised, and, in fact, indoctrinated into following their religion. Unless they never went to their religious center(church) until they were old enough to study everything themselves, and unless they had never had biased exposure to the religion in any way, they were what I would call “told to believe” the religion to which they subscribe. I hope I have made myself clear on that point.

Also, I did not tell “Christy” what to believe. I was just discussing common beliefs. I perfectly understand that it is someones right to practice whatever religion they may, so long as it does not conflict with my everyday life in the form of unfair laws and practices. By the way, I am very observant as to how people and the world works, and, though I may or may not like some things about it that could be changed, I am not angered or “pressed” in any way by it.

Finally, I find it a little wrong that you feel the need to call me a jerk, dumb, pure stupid, and an angry fool.

Romans 2:1 You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
    (New Living Translation)

Romans 2:3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things?
    (New Living Translation)

As a Christian, you are not very well verse in your religion. Maybe you should read your bible a bit more, instead of judging me based on my rational disbelief in a religion where many refuse to accept the overwhelming evidence for evolution, the overwhelming evidence for the age of the earth, and many other things.

By the way, if it weren’t for atheists or anyone questioning the existence of a judeo-christian god or any god for that matter as there are more than you could imagine, a lot of things about the world would be different. You wouldn’t have the computer you are using right now and computer code would never have been invented. You wouldn’t have Facebook, a site where I am certain you are a member. In fact, most scientists that are responsible for the innovations which you take for granted were atheists. 93% of the American National Academy of Sciences is atheist. If you want to see some of the things done by atheists you are more than welcome to read through this list:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_atheists_in_science_and_technology

Keep in mind, there are many, many more that have been atheist and have accomplished many great things for the world, but may not consider themselves completely atheist as they still feel there is possibly room for a god(as do I), or they may not be open about it.

The fact of the matter is that people who don’t believe in god, don’t believe in anything without tangible and sensible evidence and proof which warrants a belief in the scientific sense. If we may come off as rude, arrogant, or argumentative at times, it is because we truly want people to do the same. Don’t follow something unless you know for certain that it is true. If the only piece of evidence is a book that says it’s true and your faith, then by this logic, Harry Potter is true, much like unicorns and witches and mythical monsters.

However, you have the right to believe what you may, just don’t fight against people like me who want freedom. Don’t argue against abortion because people in your religion tell you so without any science to back up your view, because a religious belief, even if held by the majority, should never be the basis for a law. Don’t argue against gay marriage, as this is something where the only argument is a religious one. Don’t argue about teaching evolution in schools, as this is scientific truth. Don’t argue that your god should be taught in schools, as no child should be indoctrinated into believing anything.

  • NotAnIdiot

Feel free do to so. I just hope your friends blog is not about how dinosaurs aren’t real, about how evolution is scientifically false, why the Earth is actually only a few thousand years old, why gays are immoral human beings, why abortion is wrong, why atheists are god hating satanists who eat babies, why atheists are ignorant and have no evidence behind their beliefs, why atheism is a religion, or any other untrue things which would wrongly represent my ideas or the ideas of anyone who at least questions religious beliefs.

  • NotAnIdiot

First, I would like to know what I said about your race or religion. All I said was that I highly doubt that you came from a family with certain beliefs and that you chose different ones. I simply used Buddhism and Christianity as examples. I made no guess at your race.

In regards to religion, I probably had an upbringing much like yours. This includes going to church or whatever religious building you use for worship, celebrating the holidays in a religious context, going to Sunday school or whatever equivalent thing for any religion, reading pieces of the bible, and many others.

The difference is I further went on to question my beliefs as a child to the point where I looked into the beliefs of other religions and the evidence that science presents, and I was able to decide that the religion I had been taught and told to believe was not factually true.

For instance, evolution, which has a ton of science to support it and nothing against it, disproves the idea that there were any “first” humans in the sense of Adam and Eve, as I was raised in the Christian faith. This of course means that there was no “garden of eden,” no “forbidden fruit,” no original sin, and no souls unless those were added when humans finally arrived in their present form, which is the basis for the religion. Our scientific knowledge also tells us the approximate age of the Earth and its history, which directly go against the ideas presented by religion. Resurrection, fitting two of every animal on an ark, changing liquids, walking on liquids as a human, raining frogs, people living for 900 years, and many others are things that science shows us are not likely to be true. However, I do believe there was a “Jesus” that existed and was crucified on the cross as this is clearly more than possible and it has some evidence in it’s favor. Yet, it is tough to take a book with so many false things in it and accept it as the truth. Many people feel that especially things from the old testament were meant metaphorically, and that others were meant as the truth, but where is the line to be drawn? At the time of Jesus’ life, I guarantee that the Jews believed all of that to be true, and now, with science to serve as evidence against it, people decide it could be metaphorical.

Religion always backtracks on its beliefs once science disproves something. For instance, the Catholic Church from which Protestant denominations branched, believed that the Earth was flat, that the Earth was at the center of the universe, and, once science disproved such things, the church, though reluctant to change, had to.

You see, religion is often the art of coming up with the answer and not worrying about proof, while science worries about evidence and uses it to formulate an evidence based answer.

Religion is also responsible for many violent parts of the worlds history. The terrorist attacks which occur around the world are a product of religion(Christianity is included in this by the way). The crusades were caused by religion. The Spanish inquisition was caused by religion. Many civil wars have been fought about religion. The situation between Israel and Palestine is caused by religion. However, atheism has never been the actual cause of a war or any large violent activity. People like Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin were atheists, but they did not do bad things because of it, They did it from a political ideology and nothing more.

Anyway, things like this and many, many more have caused me to believe that there is most likely no god, at least not one like what most people worship, and that I should live my life as such, not fearing whether or not I will go to heaven or hell, as there are many problems I have with those beliefs as well.

Too bad you are going to claim that I am an idiot and a fool and that I know nothing and that you didn’t read this at all while paraphrasing things I said. I did not write any of this to insult your beliefs or end your right to have them, I am simply sharing how I came to my own beliefs and why I believe them, as well as refute your assertions that I was doing anything of the sort in any previous post.

  • NotAnIdiot

Your colleges? I’m sure you meant “colleagues” and not “colleges,” Ms. “I graduated from Harvard 20 years ago with two degrees and I’m only 30 years old.” Also, most people would never bring up anything religious to the people they work with as this could cause a lot of trouble for them, namely hostility between workers and the possibility of being fired. Furthermore, the fact that “they always love good debate” is funny because, in order to have a debate and not simply a dialogue, you must have both sides represented. So, if all of your “colleges” differ in their opinion from mine, then you won’t have a debate at all.

I sincerely hope you don’t actually print these as that would waste a lot of ink and paper. Perhaps you should copy and paste them on a word document and save them to a flash drive or just e-mail them instead. Just trying to save some money for you.

  • NotAnIdiot

I also support your right to an opinion, but I also reserve the right to present my own, as well as the evidence to support it.

  • NotAnIdiot

I would gladly speak with Christy. After all, she is a Harvard graduate with two degrees from 20 years ago while only being 30 years old. Perhaps she is far more enlightened than I am and can prove her beliefs to me. Then I could help her present her evidence to the scientific community and help her to claim her Nobel Prize. Maybe she would even let me get some of the prize money!

  • NotAnIdiot

Like I said above, I did not claim your race or religion. That is not very nice that you feel that physical violence is necessary against something simply because they hold different beliefs than you do. I do not believe your god would appreciate such action being taken.

Also, I am educated. Like I said, I am currently ACTUALLY attending a top Ivy League university, pursuing an engineering and possibly business/economics degree. I am not claiming to be the smartest person on the planet, as you clearly are smarter with your two Harvard degrees.

Furthermore, I am not claiming that anything I write is valid. Instead, I would ask that you find out for yourself if they are valid, through reading(it won’t kill your braincells I promise), research, and listening to scientists who spend their entire lives looking into such things.

  • NotAnIdiot

I don’t want everyone to believe there is no god. I still think there is a very small possibility that there is a god, though not in the sense that you probably believe. I would like to know your evidence which proves this is a lie and a dumb view as I am always open to reasonable information.

How do you know what is right? It’s great for Justin Bieber that he is rich and famous and having a great life. However, if you actually believe that someone singing pop songs is worthy of hundreds of millions of dollars, then I must question how you value currency. If you are the adult you claim to be, I’m sure you in your career work very hard for the living you receive and have had nothing handed to you. You probably wouldn’t be able to get into Cornell because you don’t have the authority with status as Bieber does, being a rich and famous teen. Yet, you are then probably a hard worker and have done more for your career than Bieber will ever have to.

I didn’t bully or torment Justin Bieber in any way, I simply pointed out that his qualities show that he is not at the level required by the student body at a university like Cornell, where it is already very hard to compete with other students for passing grades.

You are right. I haven’t met the kid and I don’t know him personally. However, there is video and written evidence which shows that he is nowhere near what the average fangirl believes he is in the form of intelligence. I will give him that he is okay at singing, but he is not talented at any instrument which he claims to play, and he is not talented at writing lyrics as he sings the most cliche things I have ever heard. He is also home schooled, probably to the most basic levels needed to claim a high school level diploma, though I see nothing of him excelling academically in any way as students who would attend a school like Cornell have. He has probably not even taken a standardized test such as the SAT or ACT to prove that he would qualify for anything like Cornell anyway, so it is clear that he does not belong in such a place.

Finally, since can infer that you are a Christian who believes in god, I will show you that you are very wrong in saying that you hate me and people like me:

Luke 6:27-36 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. …”

1 John 2:11 “But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.”

1 John 3:15 “Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.”

you are the biggest asshole out there.. your just mad fucking jealous that you do not have as many girls that you like you, like they like him. you probably are the ugliest guy in the world. and need to masturbate for a living because thats the only way you can get it in….. !!!!!!!!!

  • Jew

Your attempt to use the English language is quite pitiful. I suggest you consult someone that can assist you with such skills so that you may be able to convey your ideas in a more coherent manner.

I’d like to think I am not an asshole, but if you feel so inclined as to call me an asshole, tell me I’m ugly, that I masturbate for a living, that I get no girls, and that I am jealous of Justin Bieber, I fully support your freedom to do so. However, I must point out that it makes you seem like a bad person and a hypocrite to call me an asshole when you continue on to say hateful things.

Finally, I’m sorry, kid, but I understand people and the world far more than you can possibly dream. If you actually feel that I am jealous of someone’s ability to “get girls” then you are sadly mistaken. I do not envy Justin Bieber nor am I jealous of him. I know how his career has come to fruition and I understand how these things work, and it is nothing that I find worthy of jealousy. I, myself, am quite successful and work hard to have a successful life and I hope that you will, too.

P.S. Can you please explain to me how someone can make a living from masturbating? I may actually be interested if that is possible. Also, I would like to know how not being able to “get it in” will lead someone to such a career path. I am truly intrigued by this knowledge you seem to possess so please feel free to enlighten me.

LOL!!! He was not the brains that made the money. He was just the tool and a manufactured product that has been done with other little boys. He will go the course of all the others and fade away.

Ivy League douchebaggery at it’s finest.

I agree his stuff is stupid. His music is as easy as Bush jokes. But that doesn’t mean the kid himself is untalented, it just means he is managed and marketed in a way that caters to the less intellectual parts of our society.

Anyway, going back to Bush jokes, he went to Yale. Ivy League is not as special as the people going to it think it is. IT does attract talent, but that speaks more to prestige than the actual curriculum.

    That is all.
