Junior Seau drove his vehicle off a cliff this morning, Gossip Cop can now confirm.

Law enforcement sources tell Gossip Cop that there was an emergency call at 8:42 a.m. on Monday.

The fire department responded and found a white Cadillac SUV that had driven off a cliff. The lone person in the vehicle was identified as Junior Seau.

Earlier conflicting reports concerning the veracity of the accident came from confusion within local police departments.

Seau was arrested early Monday morning in San Diego on suspicion of domestic violence.

Seau spent most of his career as a star linebacker with the San Diego Chargers.
