Juliette Lewis was hurt and hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident late Wednesday, her sister confirms to Gossip Cop.

Brandy Lewis, who is also Juliette’s manager, tells us the actress was being driven home from an event in Los Angeles when her town car was hit by another vehicle.

Lewis was “thrown from one side of the car to the other” and was suffering a terrible headache when taken to a hospital for X-rays.

She’s now at home but “incredibly shaken up.”

A representative for Lewis tells Gossip Cop the other vehicle “broadsided” her town car, leaving it “completely totaled” before fleeing the scene.

The hit-and-run car was found a block and a half away.

A police investigation is underway.
