Jude Law Going Broke?
Jude Law is NOT “going broke” as a result of child support payments, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
According to Star, the actor is having trouble supporting his five children and three exes. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Jude would be the first to tell you that his massive child-support payments are draining his bank accounts.” Law recently appeared in a Japanese Pepsi ad, but the outlet’s “insider” claims the actor “thinks a commercial is so cheesy and beneath him,” and only signed on because he has “five mouths to feed.”
“He’ll make five figures for the Pepsi ad, but it barely makes a dent in his bills,” adds the magazine’s questionable source. “He never imagined that after such a great career he’d end up worrying about money.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to Law, who exclusively assures us the actor isn’t having trouble affording child support, and the tabloid’s claim otherwise is complete “nonsense.”
Additionally, despite the outlet’s attempt to make it seem as if the actor’s career is in danger, that’s simply not the case either. Just a few of Law’s upcoming projects include a starring role in the upcoming HBO miniseries “The Young Pope,” playing the lead villain in next summer’s blockbuster King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and he’s also expected to return for another Sherlock Holmes sequel. Suffice to say, the actor’s career is just fine and he isn’t having income issues.
