Josh Duggar Told Father About Sexually Molesting Sisters THREE Times Before Being Reported, Say Police
Josh Duggar told his father three times about his sexual molestations, but his dad waited 16 months before reporting it to the cops, says a police report. According to the documents, the 19 Kids and Counting star confessed to his father about molesting his sisters, but Jim Bob did not contact authorities after the first or even second time Josh told his dad that he had been “sneaking” into his sisters’ room and touching their “breasts and vaginal areas while they were sleeping.”
After the Duggars finally contacted police several months later, the investigation found that Josh had told his father of at least seven sexual assaults he committed against his sisters when he was a teen. The Duggars later put Josh in a treatment program for his behavior.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Josh acknowledged his past assaults on Facebook, saying “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret.” TLC since pulled the reality show from its lineup. The network said in May, “We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time.”
What do you think of the latest revelations about the Duggar family? Should TLC officially cancel the show?
