Jon Hamm And Jennifer Westfeldt Split After 18 Years Together
The couple said in a joint statement furnished to Gossip Cop, “With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history.” They added, “We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.”
For months there were rumors that they had broken up, but they denied the reports. Additionally, over the years there were false reports claiming Hamm was secretly dating his “Mad Men” co-star Elisabeth Moss and had gotten “handsy” with Italian actress Anna Safroncik. Gossip Cop had exclusively debunked both those untrue stories.
Back in March, after Hamm completed a 30-day stint in rehab for alcohol abuse, he thanked his longtime partner for her support. Hamm and Westfeldt were most recently seen together at the New York premiere of “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” on July 22. Eyewitnesses there told Gossip Cop that they looked perfectly happy and “nothing seemed off.”
Hamm and Westfeldt essentially lived together as a married couple but chose not to wed or have kids. They met a party back in 1997, and starred in the 2012 movie Friends with Kids, which Westfeldt directed.
