Jon Gosselin’s Attorney Talks to Gossip Cop About Shocking Hailey Glassman Claims

Far more interesting than Jon Gosselin‘s former reality show are the recent events in his post-show life.

On Saturday, Gosselin returned from spending Christmas with his eight children to find his New York apartment burglarized and his possessions either stolen or slashed with a knife.

A butcher’s knife, presumably the one used to destroy his belongings, was then jammed into his dresser with a note signed by his ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

Late last night, however, Glassman’s attorney told Gossip Cop, “It looks like she’s being framed,” and added that his client, who recently moved out of the apartment she shared with Gosselin, “didn’t take anything away that she was legally not entitled to take from there.”

And now today…

Gossip Cop spoke with Gosselin’s attorney, Mark Heller, who painted a very different picture, and speculated that this could end for Glassman with an “arrest” and possibly “long-term incarceration.”

Referring to Glassman’s lawyer’s comment, Heller said, “It’s a little late to disclaim that she acted inappropriately” — and wasn’t involved in the slashing of his clothes and furniture, or the smashing of a valuable vase from the Ming dynasty — especially after she acknowledged the “mean-spirited and inappropriate” note that was knifed into the dresser was “in her handwriting and she was the only other person with a key [to the apartment].”

Gosselin’s attorney added that the building has video cameras, and it will be “interesting to see” who walked out of his apartment with his TV set, Nintendo, and pots and pans, and other items. (The lawyer noted that credit card receipts will be used to prove ownership of the belongings.)

Based on the note and the fact that Glassman had the only other key to the apartment — as well as the building’s video surveillance and fingerprint samples taken by the New York Police Department — Gosselin’s lawyer told Gossip Cop, “The evidence speaks for itself.”

He further said that he expected in the first few weeks of the New Year that there will be an “arrest” and possibly imprisonment for Glassman.
