Jon Gosselin to Fight Kate For Custody of Children

“Dancing With the Stars” contestant Kate Gosselin may be heading from the ballroom to the courtroom.

Ex-husband Jon Gosselin plans to sue her for primary physical custody of their eight children.

Labeling Kate an “absentee parent,” Jon Gosselin reportedly has begun legal wrangling for the kids, as well as a reversal of the current child support arrangement, which requires him to pay roughly $21,000 per month.

Attorney Anthony List plans to file actions this week.

“Kate Gosselin can’t have it both ways unless there is some balance, unless there are some opportunities for these eight children to be in her physical presence,” says List. “Jon wants to spend time with these kids, and she is throwing up road blocks.”

This afternoon, the mother of eight shot back with the following statement: “I am not willing to comment in public on the custody discussions regarding my children. What I will say is this: I am and always will be a mother first, but as a single working mom, I will do everything necessary to provide for my kids despite the opinions of others.”

Mark Momjian, an attorney for Kate, calls his client “a devoted mother who loves her children very much.” Momjian confirmed that he had not yet received an official petition from Jon Gosselin for custody and spousal support.

    I voted here for Kate too, though she can’t dance for shit and I can’t do the same to keep her ‘with the stars.’

    Jon is a major shithead, and always has been. He’s fat now and a smoker, looks gross and seems lazy. Besides, anyone who wears Ed Hardy ANYTHING is a certified D’Bag! Whatever happened to his young girlfriend? Oh, that’s right, she had enough of him sitting on his ass and spending her money too.

    So, kate joins a 5 week dancing competition practicing out of her house, and this deadbeat toad who stole from his own kids wants to suddenly take a break from boinking 22 yr old famewh*res from coast to coast to play devoted Daddy Dearest? I don’t get it. Is he angling to date one of his daughter’s classmates? I thought he had adopted his dentist’s daughter or that other teenage brunette he was screwing and stepping out all over town with. The double standard this guy has is astounding. He’s a jealous fat balding pig who hates that Kate is in the limelight and providing for her kids- while looking good doing it – realizing he’s a gross looking little man that no one is interested in on his own, he’s decided to use his children as pawns in his fame game — they get him more press than his 21 yr old girlfriends. Keep dancing kate.

    People really bash Kate for doing DWTS and going on talk shows, but what else is she supposed to do? Even if she returned to nursing full time, she would never be able to provide for 8 kids. I don’t LOVE her, but I feel for her. She may come off as a b!tch sometimes, but it’s not easy being a single parent with 8 freakin kids. Plus, she has to deal with this idiot for an exhusband.
    No judge would ever give Jon custody of the kids. He is so pathetic..
