Jon Dorenbos “America’s Got Talent” Video: Ne-Yo Uses Golden Buzzer For NFL Magician
Ne-Yo was the guest judge on “America’s Got Talent on Tuesday, and used his Golden Buzzer on NFL player and magician Jon Dorenbos. Watch below!
Like last year, season 11 of “AGT” is featuring a Judge Cuts round. All the acts that made it through the auditions have to perform for the panel again in groups of 20. But for each group, only seven acts can continue on in the competition.
Ne-Yo joined the regular judges for the first installment, and could hit the Golden Buzzer only once to send an act straight to the live shows. And it was the Philadelphia Eagles player’s routine that prompted the singer to push the button. As Gossip Cop reported, Dorenbos’ “America’s Got Talent” audition was what initially impressed everyone.
But now he came back with an even more astounding card trick that had Simon Cowell calling him a “wizard” when it was over. Combined with his charming personality and sense of humor, the panel was once again won over. But perhaps no one more so than Ne-Yo.
“Can I do something?” the performer asked. He then hit the buzzer, sending confetti shooting out onto the stage. Dorenbos confessed after, “I’m speechless, man.” So, why did Ne-Yo give the athlete this huge advantage?
He explained, “Just looking at it, somebody might go, ‘it’s just card tricks.’ I see the potential. I see what it could be.” Check out the video below!
