Johnny Manziel Throws Water Bottle At Fan, Misses During Fight (PHOTO)
Johnny Manziel threw a water bottle at a guy during a fight on Saturday… and missed. See photo below.
Manziel had participated in the Byron Nelson Golf Classic in Irving, Texas with a group of friends, and was allegedly being harassed by an 18-year-old fan during the tournament. At the Four Seasons Resort pool afterward, the alleged heckling continued, and words were reportedly exchanged, with the fan supposedly saying, “Good luck never starting in NFL.” Manziel allegedly became angry enough to throw an empty bottle toward the unidentified person. When the shot missed, the guy reportedly yelled back, “Nice throw, Johnny.”
That is said to have angered Manziel even more, and he allegedly tried to charge the person, but was held back by another individual. Police, who were serving as security, defused the situation. Photos circulating on social media show two officers talking to Manziel and his group (see below). But the fan did not want to press charges, so the case is considered closed.
Manziel’s throwing arm seems to still be a sore subject for him after a lackluster first season as quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Manziel had a run-in with the cops last summer, when a Justin Bieber party he attended was crashed by police over noise complaints. Manziel’s partying was speculated to be affecting his career, and, as Gossip Cop reported at the time, the NFL player went to rehab earlier this year.
This new incident with Manziel comes just a few days after he participated in a Browns mini-camp practice in Ohio for the upcoming season. See photo of the athlete with the cops below.
