Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and Other Pals React to Loss of Ryan Dunn

Johnny Knoxville has taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of his “brother” and Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn, who died in a horrific car accident in Pennsylvania this morning.

Knoxville says, “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.” Steve-O similarly used Twitter to express his sadness. He tweeted, “I don’t know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I’m really going to miss him.”

Benji Madden, Cary Hart and Jared Followill of Kings of Leon also tweeted remembrances of Dunn. Madden wrote, “I’m very Sad and Shocked to hear about Ryan Dunn. My thoughts & Prayers are with his Family.” Hart said, “RIP ryan dunn. You were an amazing guy and you were cut way to short. Enjoyed the times we had. My heart goes out to his family and friends.” “I’m heartbroken to say that our great friend we made over the last 8 months has passed away. Honestly in shock. Devastated,” tweeted Followill.

MTV also commented on the passing of Dunn, saying, “We’re deeply saddened by the passing of a member of the MTV family, Ryan Dunn. Our hearts and thoughts are with his friends and family.” Later in the evening, Jessica Simpson tweeted, “It has taken me all day to put my thoughts into words, but there are no words to describe the loss of such an incredible man. RIP Ryan Dunn.”
