Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradis Split

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have split, a rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

“Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated,” the publicist tells Gossip Cop in a statement. “Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”

The couple, together for 14 years, have a 12-year-old daughter named Lily Rose and a 10-year-old son named Jack.

Back in May, Depp denied reports that he and Paradis were splitting.

    Sad news as these two seemed well suited for each other. Hopefully they both find happiness and keep things amicable for their children. As far as the comments about Hollywood divorce rates, there are many, many Hollywood couples that stay together for very long times, many for life. I’m not sure Hollywood actually has a higher divorce rate, they just get publicity for divorcing and not for staying together.

    Just imagine what the children are going through. Maybe counseling or therapy would have helped. This is so awful. I hope that he isn’t chasing a bi-sexual woman. She won’t be satisfied with just him.

    It was mutual decision not to marry. Its not always woman who wants to marry and man who resists.
    And since they share kids together, and are both pretty reasonable, I doubt he has any problems shilling out money.
    Plus it’s not like she is home-stay mom who would struggle for money. She is pretty big in France herself!

    I had a feeling this would happen when Johnny was flirting with that mermaid extra on the set of the last pirate of the Caribbean movie. She was barely an adult and he was flirting shamelessly with her i believe Vanessa deserves better as for Johnny sounds like he will be on the path of having a mid life crisis soon completely lost respect for him.

    Sad but not unexpected because of the previous rumors. I wonder why Johnny Depp denied it before. Wouldn’t they be considered in a common law marriage even if not legally married? She deserves to get some serious money for all the time she put her career on the back burner to raise his kids and keep his career going.

    I like how Gossip Cop makes sure their covering tracks………since these rumors actually started almost a year ago. But of course, since every celebrity denies everything, they spend an entire article bashing every mag out there only to find out months later………………ah, yes, once again….gossip cop was wrong.

    Seems very much like an aging actor experiencing mid-life crisis and a case of young preety actress throwing herself at him-feeding his ego to be seen with a younger woman on his arm…so predictable, it’s rather boring.

    However, I do feel extremely sorry for Vanessa as she looks like she has been suffering from her husbands indecretions for a long time and lookes jaded with it all. I hope that when the dust setteles she picks herself up with her 100 or so million quid and sparkles once more. I think that in the fullness of time she will move on and when his mid-life crisis is over, he will realise that he has thrown away a beautiful jewel…it will be his loss.

    Wow, Vanessa must be really annoying because she is really beautiful physically. I think J.D. hooked up with her soley for her looks cause she resembled Kate Moss who he was with when he met Vanessa.Then bam Vanessa got preggers. He wasn’t even with her but a couple of months when she got pregnant! I don’t think John even got to prosess his split from Kate Moss. Then before he knew it he was trapped into a family. Also when a man does not marry that means she is NOT the one.The whole thing was doomed from the start. I mean, she punished him by not attending the Oscars for Gods sake! She did not want J.D. to be in the film The Tourist and was convinced he would sleep with Angelina Jolie. So when It was nominated she moped and pouted and would not support her husband and be by his side at the Oscars! She is so insecure and jealous which is so ridiculous cause she is really pretty. What a mess, The writing was on the wall early on about this relationship. I read the tea leaves a long time ago and I was right, it just could never last. I know J.D. and this is insider Hollywood info, but he is way too free spirited for her. He used to love to party and I do mean party hard, and he is totally makin the rounds whith the ladies.I think in a couple of years he will tire of the sex drugs and rocknroll seen and settle down again, he is definately a monogamos man when he’s in a deep relationship.I am sure he will find his true love one day, but he’s gotta get alot out of his system for a while before that happens
