Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson are quite the musical duo.

The longtime friends, who recorded a cover of Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” for Manson’s upcoming album, performed together at Revolver magazine’s Golden Gods Awards concert in L.A. on Wednesday night.

After singing “Sweet Dreams,” Manson told the crowd, ”If you don’t recognize my personal friend… my personal savior, my personal guitar hero… Johnny Depp!”

Depp was a guitarist in several bands before he got into acting.
