Johnny Depp Sued Over Alleged Bodyguard Altercation at Iggy Pop Concert

The woman who claims she was roughed up by Johnny Depp’s bodyguards at a December concert has filed a lawsuit against the actor.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the 52-year-old woman claimed she was in her VIP seats at an Iggy Pop concert at L.A.’s Palladium on December 1 when Depp’s bodyguards allegedly manhandled her.

In her lawsuit, the woman – who was reported at the time to be Robyn Ecker but is now suing under the name Jane Doe – claims she suffered serious injuries, including a dislocated elbow.

She also alleges that Depp’s bodyguards put her in handcuffs and dragged her across the floor, leading her pants to fall off, and took her cell phone, which contained sensitive information.

The woman is suing for unspecified damages, TMZ reports.

    Well that case is going to get thrown out of court in a heart beat. Unless she filed under Jane Doe to protect herself from harrassment.

    It’s probably to protect herself. You are talking about a person suing Johnny “Captain Jack Sparrow” Depp. Plus, you are talking about one of many Roman Polanski defenders. Johnny Depp thinks that it’s OK for someone of Polanski’s status to get away with statutory rape. So, he probably thinks that it’s OK for his bodyguards to rough up a woman and there be no consequences. Combine this with having to deal with the starstruck LAPD and LASD (Google Lindsay Lohan Assault 2012 to see what I mean, witnesses are saying that they are being treated like second class citizens by the LA cops because of Lindsay’s status), and you’ve got a mess. I hope that the Anna Nicole Smith judge, Judge Larry Seidlin, gets the case because he is the only level headed judge in LA.
