Johnny Depp Bodyguards Allegedly Rough Up Middle-Aged Woman at Concert

Johnny Depp‘s bodyguards allegedly roughed up a middle-aged woman named Robyn Ecker at an Iggy Pop concert in L.A. on Thursday at L.A.’s Palladium.

According to Ecker’s police report, she and her husband had seats next to Depp, and while dancing at the concert — which was a birthday gift to her husband — the 52-year-old woman invaded the actor’s space.

That’s when Depp’s bodyguards grabbed her arms and wrestled her to the ground, says Ecker, who may have had a cocktail too many.

After the incident, Ecker went to a local hospital to get checked out.

While Depp was not personally involved in the alleged takedown, Gossip Cop is reaching out to his rep for the actor’s account of the incident.

News of Ecker’s run-in with the Pirates of Caribbean star’s bodyguards was first reported by TMZ.

    I somehow doubt this story’s accuracy! Even if something did took place,I doubt it was exactly like Ecker claims!
    Depp is so low-key, first it’s sad that he would need a bodyguard to go outside in the first place. And with such a low key man, his bodyguard don’t just wrestle 52 year old woman for no reason to the ground!

    Law enforcement sources says to TMZ that the lady appeared “wasted” when she made the report.

    Depp’s personal security is highly professional and there to protect Johnny from overly zealous fans. They are hired to keep everyone safe, even drunks. I highly doubt the woman was abused and find her playing the “handicapped” card a play for sympathy. She was drunk and acting erratically. That was her real handicap. Furthermore, the reports failed to mention that Johnny was there with his family, making it necessary for extra precaution.
    It’s pretty low when sleazy journalists bend the truth to get a headline but it happens all the time.

    what the heck , i thought iggy pop was out of the concert scene years ago, as i remember his shows were of the type to get the crowd razzed. also why dident mr depps people buy all the surrondig seats to keep a distance from a crowd that could get into a “mosh pit ” type of thing? or is mr.iggy, reverting to a less type of showmans acts ,like reading bible passages? .. .
