John Stamos opened up about the almost-official “Full House” reboot this week, telling a paparazzi cameraman at LAX airport in Los Angeles that he was the one pushing for a revival and explaining that he wants “Fuller House” to preserve the legacy of the beloved original sitcom. Asked whether the reported Netflix series is definite, Stamos says, “It’s my hope that it is… we’re just working out a few of the details.” When the paparazzo says fans really want to see the show return, the actor replies, “I want it, too.”
“I’ll tell you one thing, ‘Full House’ should be back on the air,” declares Stamos. “If we can work the deal out… hopefully it will make everyone happy.” When the cameraman keeps pressing for details and a confirmation, Stamos responds, “Here’s the deal. We’re this close to making it all happen. I’m the one who started it all. I wanted to bring it back [for] the fans, and I don’t want to hurt the legacy. I’m not going to let that happen. We’re this close to making it perfect.” There you have it. Watch the video below, and tell us what you think.
