John Stamos Finishes Rehab: I’m “Healthy” And “Feeling Grateful” (PHOTO)
John Stamos is finished with rehab. See photo below.
Though it was only reported two weeks ago that the “Full House” star was seeking treatment for substance abuse, he had actually been in a rehab facility since late June. The actor sought help just days after he was arrested for DUI. Now, after completing a 30-day program, Stamos took to Twitter on Friday to announce he’s “back.”
“I’m back! Took a month to take care of things. Healthy,” wrote Stamos. “Feeling grateful for the love & support of family & friends.” Accompanying the tweet was a picture of the star hitting a punching bag (see below). He appeared to be wearing a “Win Blackie Win Shirt,” a nod to his “General Hospital” character.
But while Stamos is done with rehab, he still has his DUI case to handle. As Gossip Cop reported, Stamos was pulled over for erratic driving in Beverly Hills on June 12, and police initially thought he was having some kind of medical episode. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later arrested.
Stamos is due to appear in court on September 11. Later that month, his new Fox sitcom, “Grandfathered,” premieres on September 29. Stamos is also producing and starring in the Netflix “Full House” sequel “Fuller House,” which will debut in 2016.
The cast had its first read-through for the pilot episode last week, though it doesn’t seem he participated. Lori Loughlin tweeted to her co-star after Stamo’s message Friday, “Welcome home @JohnStamos!! Can’t wait to see you Monday!” Check out the photo the TV star shared below.
